Good morning Ally.

Hope you have a good flight. I will give you a wave as you fly over my house this evening.

The sun is out but there are a few clouds. Justbpootling today. Will be taking the dead flowers of the Evening Primrose flowers. They are all coming out in blooms.
I get lots of bees on them. Not seen an butterflies yet.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Warm already and hitting the 40's again

The best time is early morning, so we've done all the outside stuff and are now sweltering inside with a coffee

Day one of our 41st anniversary two day celebration will start with a cooked  breakfast. We have a bottle of bubbly stuff we were given about 14 years ago and each year, we say we must drink it. As we're doing nothing at all for the rest of the day, apart from be in the pool, today might be the day.

BBQ later, bit risky, in such high temperature, so we'll do it the front, which is all gravel. And have a watering can close by, just in case.

Safe flight Ally, enjoy your time over there x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all ,gonna be another not ,just a bit of wedding today.

We have bumble bees that have taken up residence under some old decking, wife is not happy,.
Looked on Google where it said they don't like Cinnamon or white vinegar plus water, well these bees haven't read Google!
Beekeeper said if you leave them alone they won't bother you.
Will depart around October

Morning all, there is wet stuff falling from the sky :( Not much planned for the day - there is a pension form to fill in ready for posting tomorrow. I’ll probably do some ironing too. I’m still working on the jigsaw I’ve been doing since January so might manage to put on a few more pieces. Then this evening we will be watching golf from America and hoping that Ireland’s Leona Maguire wins the womens’ PGA, she is currently leading by one stroke.

Safe journey Ally!

Hot 8-)

Safe flight Ally.

Another day in the garden beckons. Roast chicken with salad for dinner, but sadly no pud, we've run out of blancmange and Sainsbury's failed to deliver the ice cream, disaster!!

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all :)

Ally it's scorching here, not sure about Scotland though - have a great flight :D xx

Enjoy your special day Jan :D xx

Waves to everyone :)

We went out early while it was still coolish, and had breakfast - left B and the hound at home. B as she was out at her friend's house in Painswick having drinkies until 3am, and the hound as it's far too hot for him out and about - well over 30°

Round to D's after that to make sure she's ok in this heat. Got the big tower fan going for her, and Mick checked that the automatic watering system he rigged up for the tomatoes and cukes was working 8-) Had a nice slice of her apple and cider cake 8-) We're having chicken salad with minty Jersey spuds for a late lunch/early dinner.

Love to all xxx
