Good morning.

Flaming June it is then. 8-)

Off for a Guadalmar walk with Don. :cute:

Masterchef final tonight. I don't have a favourite so I'll be delighted whoever wins.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey start and not that warm  We're supposed to be 28C today  Looks more like rain and 20C

Not being able to believe that we'll have rain this afternoon, we've done all the watering. If it does, then it's a bonus

Cooking head on this morning. Goulash and the prep for a chicken, white wine and mushroom risotto. one of my favourites, but not Grumpy's so I don't do it that often.

Lazy afternoon, reading and like Ally, will be watching Masterchef later. Omar or Cheria or however it's spelt, for me.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it looks nice out there. Going to dance practice this morning then back to have Kellie this afternoon. I’m not actually collecting her from school, she is going to walk to the local shop and I will meet her there, the start of preparing her to walk here on her own. She is staying a bit later this evening, Miss Osc must have something on, don’t know yet if Michael is coming for his dinner. Edward’s nephew’s fiancé had a baby boy last night, Edward’s sister sent a lovely photo of the three of them, a beautiful smiley photo of the happy parents and baby. V is Edward’s godson, does that make Edward a grand-godfather  Right, usual tidy around before we go out.

Morning all :D

Chilly, missing the Barbados sunshine.

Got lots of washing done yesterday, didn't get out to the shops, made do with dinner from the freezer. More washing today, but we will pop over to M&S later for some fresh food. No phone calls from either hospital so will have to chase them up too.

Oh and our outside drain protested about all the washing, E opened the back door to find a flood, luckily Ken over the road has a set of drain rods so that was what E was doing at 6pm last night. Think it was a build up of leaves and no water going through for 5 weeks, hope so anyway, seems to be okay now.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.

Flaming June? it's chilly here.
MrsC is out at our son's house and I have promised to give up Sainsbury's own brand wine gums. I think cold turkey is the best way.

We have had to inform our gas suppliers that we haven't had a bill. Our meter wasn't functioning apparently.

Went to Pontefract yesterday and again fell into conversation with a stranger when I sat down on a bench. This has happened the last three times I've been there. Moreover none of the people have been like Jasper Carrot's old character The Loony on the Bus, who tells you he's got a nuclear bomb in his shopping bag and then pulls out a tin of corned beef to show you.

Have a nice day everyone.

hello and good afternoon all

Osc - Kellie and Michael are just growing up so fast! And congrats on the birth of the little one - always so special :D
Ally - as Crommers said; darn chilly here still. Really biting wind that's keeping temperatures low despite afternoon sunshine
Crommers; glad there's no bomb on display    I think some conversations with random strangers can be the most interesting
Jen, fingers crossed the drain is now cleared.
Jan, hope you got the cooking done and are enjoying the lazy afternoon
Saundra; I should look into one as well - make sense to have something in place given the exorbitant costs

Well office day for me today but again leaving early. Need to pick up something on my way home (if it fits into the car that is and I've at short notice taken tomorrow off so; the aim is to sort the greenhouse and get the tomatoes into their final larger pots; and then a BBQ at Karl and Nadine later in the day.

have a good rest of day everyone x

Evening everyone - I think I'm losing the plot, I was convinced I had posted this morning :?

Sainsbury's with D this morning, then this afternoon I did a pile of ironing :cute: It's been a beautifully sunny afternoon here :) No Pilates tonight as it's school holidays.

Love to all xxx
