I'm reading June Whitfield's autobiography at the moment and really enjoying it.
Next will be Anne Murray's Family of Women.

She's married to Giles Coren (Times food critic) and when they married she couldn't cook so decided she'd better learn.
The book is not just recipes though, there's only one per chapter;it's mainly from her blog and extremely entertaining, she's funny and sweary, it's a really good read
The recipes are quite good too
