A swim later then a bit of reading before we go out for a spot of lunch. :D

Masterchef tonight.

Have a great day.

Hello and good morning :D

Enjoy the day Ally - sounds lovely; sun, pool and lunch out - what more can one want?
Jan, take it easy with the lavender and enjoy the lazy afternoon; yum steak for dinner!
Cruiser, sorry it's not so nice 'up north' - it was a nippy start to the morning here where I am, but clear skies and the sun is now shining through a hazy layer of clouds. Not overly warm admittedly but just nice to have sunshine vs grey skies

I was up early this morning - 5am alarm. We have a board meeting in the office today; usually the board has an external breakfast and then comes here for a 9.30am start, but one of the guys needs to leave early so everything was brought forward with breakfast here in the office which I needed to set up. I was at Waterloo by 7.10am  - I'm usually still at home at that time LOL.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all :)

Sounds perfect, Ally :D xx

Not warm here either Cruiser, but like Ria we at least have beautiful sunshine :) xx

I love lavender Jan, do you dry it? I dried some of ours last year, and put it in bags in the wardrobe, as we seem to get moths here! xx

Ria that's a VERY early start! Hope your day goes well :) xx

Nice and sunny here, should warm up later. Going to wash some more of the stuff I got out of storage and get it on the line - I didn't realise just how many summer shirts Mick has    I'm making myself a lot of ironing :? :cute:  Out for brunch with Mick in a while, then round to D's - we're doing a bit of jet washing for her, her patio and paths.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s a nice sunny one here. I’m up and about early as I have a doctor’s appointment at 10.30. After that, I’ll head off to Pavers to collect the famous shoes and have a potter around the shopping centre. Edward is going to play golf so I will give him a lift to the club. On the way to the doc, I want leave stuff into the cleaners, winter trousers and my winter coat. I’m on the verge of putting on the summer duvet, might wait another week. I’ve been waiting for an appointment for an MRI and frustratingly missed a call about it yesterday while in the shower - I rang back and left a message, hopefully they might call back today.

Kaz, Edward has a ridiculous amount of shirts

Good afternoon all.
We have been to Aldi and B@M. Got some stuff for MrsC's Uncle Jim too.
In a bit I'm off to the atm; we have had the electric bill but not the gas bill which is strange as they usually come together.
It's nice here now but lots of clouds.
Have a good day everyone.

After I had posted, I went to the hospital to pick up a pescription. It is a special one to empty my bowel before Thursday.
Managed to find an empty parking space and did not have to pay as I have a disable badge.
Went to the pharmacy which is in a seperate building. One of the staff was just going in and said it did not open till 9.00 a.m. So I decided to have a drink.
Had to walk back to the car to get some money and went into the main building where there is a Costa coffee shop. I was just going to order when the lady I had
seen at rthe pharmacy said she would try and get my prescription made up. SoI went and sat in the entrance to the pharmacy.
Had to wait about 15 minutes before another lady came out with my prescription and a leaflet.
So I was back home by 8.30 a.m.

I was prepared to wait but glad I did not have to. Just shows there are some good staff in the NHS.
