Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely sunny morning and is going to be another rather warm one.

Holiday today, the day the Army did a bloodless coup over Salazar and got rid of the dictator.

Off shopping soon, as I need to prep tomorrow's lunch today and let it marinade overnight. Pit stop for coffee on the way back and then all sorts of stuff to do.

Breakfast first, then ironing, then prepping, then out in the garden again, Grumpy is going to sort out the grouting in the pool, as we've let the water go down quite a bit, so he can sort it out.

No bar tonight, events got a bit silly yesterday and we stayed there far too long   Was good fun though

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,

Housework today. I am staying in as I am expecting a phone call. Missed one yesterday when i went out for about an hour.

It is sunny but only 15C. There was frost on the windscreen when I went for the paper.

Have a good day everybody

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Well today's the day, we're being picked up at 1.30pm. We're staying at The Sofitel Heathrow T5 tonight, our flight is 11.30am tomorrow morning, long haul means being there 3hrs earlier so much prefer to be at the airport the day before, more sleep, less hassle and worry about the traffic etc.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it’s lovely and sunny here and the wind has died down. I was hanging out washing earlier and it was relatively warm on our sheltered terrace. This cold weather towards the end of April is not unusual, according to my FB memories. Edward has gone to play golf and I have plenty to do around the house - will get out for a walk though.

Jen, good idea to have a nice relaxing evening the day before you go. Safe travels and have a wonderful holiday.

Safe travels Jen and have a wonderful, relaxing holiday xx

Well laid plans and all that

Back home after forgetting Grumpy's prescription, but no worries, he has enough for now, breakfast, washed up, tidied up, did some washing, then the ironing and had a phone call from Lucy.

Can they bring Angie round for a chat? Two hours later, they've just gone

No gardening now, far too hot, and we're meeting down at the bar later.

Good job I've already got something out of the freezer for dinner ;)

Good afternoon.
Sunny and bright but with a chilly wind.
We have been to put flowers on my mum and dad's grave, also to do a bit of shopping.
There is a beef stew in the oven and i'm going to cook a bolognaise for the freezer.
Jen, have a lovely holiday!
Have a nice day all.
