Come on, contact details v self driving pods! I keep asking what problems self-driving vehicles are solving and, just as importantly, what new ones they will create? No answer - ever.

Ah but, but, 42,000 road deaths - it's actually 1.35 million per year. You think road deaths will drop to zero if SDPs ever become the thing? Think on, it's a fantasy world.

i know that these things are technically possible but i think that humanity has bigger problems to work on than allowing "drivers" to twiddle their thumbs while going from A to B.

Actually I think that reducing the number of vehicles built and sold and on the road by making autonomous vehicles available to the masses for a very small cost, so they can be shared instead of one person one car hogging all the roads and parking to be a very good idea.

All the avoided accidents don't hurt either.

Just saying...
There are 10 types of people in the world:
Those who understand Binary and those who do not.
