Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 13 Apr 2023, 05:47

Good morning.

Sunny and a much more pleasant 26° forecast. The past three days have felt like being in the Sahara. Ridiculous for this time of year.

I'm away for my walk shortly. :D

Late morning Decathlon will get a visit as I need some new trainers. I always have two pairs on the go but they're both suddenly knackered looking.

Pre weekend beers and dinner at our local tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Glad i don't live near the coast.

Just pootling again today.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny, but with a cold wind. Cooler than normal at 20C

Will get the watering finished later and then head down to the veggie plot. We have to harvest the peas and some of the broad beans. Picked up a load of onions yesterday. Although the voles have eaten a lot of roots from the peas and onions

we had thought of a bbq for later, but don't think it will be a good day for that. Will have to grab something out of the freezer.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning you three and everyone

Cruiser; I hadn't heard that - need to check in with my friend who lives in Hove to make sure all is OK with her / her property. Have a good day pootling
Jan, the only thing I have growing at the moment is garlic, some self seeded onions and some winter lettuce. Bought tomato and chili plants over the weekend so will grow them on in the greenhouse; but that's a job for this weekend.
Hope you enjoyed the walk this morning Ally, and enjoy whatever it is you're up to today.

Another work from home day for me; Karl should be here shortly and hopefully today the pipework will be going in. We definitely won't be finished by Sunday but that's OK - as long as I have a functioning loo and either bath or shower then I'm good - the rest can be done over the next few weekends.

Another windy day here but at least the sun is shining (but still nippy)- crikey yesterday was but grim; lots of rain, hail at times and most of it coming at you sideways because of the wind.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Up at silly o'clock, E's got a blood test appointment at 11am, it's a follow up from his course of folic acid. Afterwards we'll drive to Westwood Cross for our usual weekly shopping jaunt.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it’s sunny but still very chilly here, at least it is not raining. We are up bright and early as we are heading off to Wicklow for the day. Michael has been invited to join the U/15 team at the golf club where he plays down there and today is a preliminary day when they will all play, presumably to sort out their abilities. Miss Osc asked if we could bring him down there and we were happy to oblige. Kellie will be with us also, we’ll go to the house or maybe bring her for a wander around Wicklow town. When Michael is finished we’ll have something to eat before coming back, although we have to make sure to be back in plenty of time as he is going to a disco tonight! He wants to be there around 11.30 to play at 12pm so we will leave just before 10am as I need to get petrol.

Good morning.
A blinking cold one again.
In ten minutes I'm off to drop MrsC in town, she's going to look for Eliza's birthday present. Five years old already and going on fifteen!
Cooking a beef stew for tonight.
I've been enjoying using my new blue badge (bad knees, hip, arthritis); free on street parking and nice roomy parking spots at the supermarket. I knew there must be some benefits to getting on a bit!
Have a good day all.
