Good morning.

31° forecast so I'm leaving for my walk right now!

Not a lot planned for the day but I'm happy with that.

New series of Masterchef tonight. Very happy with that.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally, enjoy your walk.

We have had rain. Still lots of clouds but the sun is trying to come out. Just pootling today. Probably clean the kitchen floor.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny but cool at the moment, warming up nicely later.

Washing in, second load will also be done and hope it's dry before we head off.

Down to the Algarve this afternoon, to see the surgeon with our eye test results and to discuss what sort of lens. You know you're going private when the clinic ring you on Easter Sunday morning, reminding you of your appointment and wish you Happy Easter

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Have a good one, Cruiser :) xx

Good luck with the appointment Jan! XX

It's raining here, of course, it's a Bank Holiday :cute:   We're going out for brunch at Portivo's in a while, and possibly meeting up with Em and Dave down there if they can make it. Round to D's this afternoon. We had a lovely day yesterday, it was worth slaving over a hot stove

Have a good Bank Holiday Monday everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s a miserable wet one here. We had a little lie on as the golf in America didn’t finish until after midnight. Just finished breakfast now and no plan to do anything this morning. Going dancing this afternoon. I have a few things to put in the attic so I might do that, and maybe see what Spring clothes I have, although it’s not very Spring-like at the moment. I could do with some of Ally’s nice warm weather.

Morning all :D

Wet

Not much happening here, I plan to tackle a few more of E's cotton shirts and we're expecting a Tesco delivery later this afternoon. Nothing else planned.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Five hours later, we got back

I managed to sneak into C & A to get some bra's and we'd hoped to get Grumpy some more sandles. but ran out of time.

We got there half an hour before the appointment, as we're asked to do. No idea why, we were sat there like lemons

Quick chat with the surgeon, more drops in the eye(s), please wait outside for 15 minutes. Half an hour later  we go back in.

He checks the eyes, sorts out what lenses we need, tells us that Gambelas will contact us by phone, here is a prescription for drops, for after the operation.

Which will be a Tuesday, he thought

Off we go, having paid the 160€ to get a phone call from one of the receptionists.

He forgot to give us back our test/scan results

I asked him if it would be okay to drive, after the drops, as we both struggled last time. No problem, just a little bright in the sun.

I could hardly see and Grumpy was struggling

I kept seeing vehicles on what I thought was our side of the road   Almost back to normal now.

We go back - no appointment, just turn up - 2 days after the op, to him to have a quick look-see.
