Postby cruiser2 » 29 Mar 2023, 06:07

Good morning everybody,

A dull day but no rain. Have been for the paper. Will be goingto Tesco later.
Checked the gauge on the car. Yesterday on my tripto Skipton I did 112 miles with 45 mpg About half was on motorway the other on twisting country A roads.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Cool but sunny and warming up nicely later.

Off to Ourique after breakfast, hit both supermarkets, the chemist, pit-stop on the way back and breakfast when we eventually get back.

Grumpy's knee is very sore, so he's strapped up and taking it easy. He can push the trolley around Aldi, I'll do Pingo and he can rest up for the rest of the day.

I'll be outside, with sun cream on, shorts and t-shirts, doing something or other in the garden.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning.

I was out for my walk as soon as it was light to avoid the heat that's heading our way.
It got insanely hot yesterday but we were well protected by a huge parasol. :D

Bacon rolls for brunch. :cute:

Pool for me later then sunbed reading. 8-)

Conor's coming over at 5 to take us for a few beers. :D

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning all, it’s not raining. It’s grey though and there’s more forecast for later this morning. It’s quite a bit milder.

Had a lovely long walk first thing with Bill, it’s so muddy on the common though.

Cinema tonight to see the new John Wick film which John wants to see, I’ve got no interest whatsoever in it so I’ve booked seats in the very back corner so I can take my Kindle and not disturb anyone :Hi:

Sad news about Paul O’Grady overnight :(

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

Sad about Paul O'Grady, we loved his Sunday early evening show on Radio 2 and were so sorry when he was pushed out.

I have an appointment with the gynae nurse this afternoon. My check up is overdue, apparently Mr.Abdelbaset has been off with a bad back for over 2mths now so my last two appointments with him were cancelled. Luckily Michele the nurse gave me her direct phone number, I rang her and she agreed it shouldn't wait, especially as I'll be away for over a month soon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

It’s been pouring rain here today  Went to town to meet J for a cuppa, she gave me a belated birthday present, a lovely Yankee Candle :D Bought Mick some nice suede loafers and a new linen shirt in M&S, then walked up to D’s afterwards. Mick was waiting in for a delivery, but it came by 2.30 so he came up to D’s as well, where we still are. They’re watching Lingo so I've got a few minutes to post ;)

Jen I hope all goes well xx

Love to all xxx

It's an afternoon quiz show, very similar to Wordle, so I think you'd like it ;)

3pm ITV1 weekdays :)
