Jan, we asked our lawn-mowing guy, Andy, a farmer's lad, if he wouldn't mind pruning back and tidying up a 10 foot shrub we have in the back garden, if he had a moment?

It's now a 5 foot shrub shaped like a boiled egg with the top taken off, and we have enough foliage to fill the fortnightly green waste bin three times over .... :shock: :roll: :lol:

Why are agave's so difficult to dig out?

We put two in the wrong spot, so are getting rid of them. He's having to saw off the stems, before he can dig it up :shock:
