Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 17 Mar 2023, 06:04

Good morning.

Sunny and gorgeous. :D 8-)

We're off to Cartagena. :cute:

Gez and Sharon flew into Alicante on Monday and have been staying in an apartment near Murcia so they're driving West and we'll drive up and meet up for 3 days and nights. :cute:

We booked our hotel a couple of weeks ago and got an email yesterday saying they've upgraded us to a king sized suite. Result. ;)

Really looking forward to seeing our dearest friends and exploring a new city. :P

The Irishness in Don, Gez and Sharon will ensure St Patrick will be well celebrated tonight.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally,
Sounds as if you are going to have a good time. Will you be having any Guiness?

The sun is comingout and it is getting warm. Have been for the paper. Will be going toChorley later on the bus.
May have lunch there. Will get some fish from one ofmthe stalls on the market. It is always busy.
Hada phone call from the doctor yesteday afternoon about my blood test and pescriptions. All is well provided I keep taking the tablets and
watch what I eat. He wants me to have a test to make sure I do not have any sign of cancer. THey are certainly looking after me.

Have a good day everybody

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny and not so cold. Still cold at night and we've lit the fore a couple of times this week

Cleaning for me this morning and then some gentle weeding. I pulled a little too much yesterday and could certainly feel it yesterday

The cat is not on my friendly list. She bit me again last night, in exactly the same place as two weeks ago, so I'm nursing a very sore hand

Giving the bar a swerve tonight, too many people yesterday were plonking bottles of beer in front of me  which I had to drink  We'll go down tomorrow, when most of them won't be there ;) We only went down because I've ordered a mattress through Joaquinha's hotel and had to pay Jan for it. Has to be done, before he leaves next month.

Enjoy the time with your friends Ally x

They certainly are looking after you Cruiser xx

Have a goodday everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all.
Sunny here and not cold.
We have dropped the child Eliza off at school. We have to go in a car and there are two schools either side of the road, one a High School. The traffic is horrendous at drop off / pick up times but we don't really have an alternative.
We are waiting in for a tea delivery and a wine delivery.
After that it's the weekend shop and then me to PGI to have my bloods done, deep joy.
Have a good day all.

Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit! Happy St Patrick’s day to all! It’s dull and damp here, quite normal for this day unfortunately, but that won’t stop people enjoying themselves. We are doing a double today, going dancing this afternoon and this evening, not done that for a while. I’ll be wearing a green dress and even have my nails painted green :D It will be interesting to see how my feet respond  In between the two, we will pop to my sister’s house for a cuppa and a sandwich. Edward is busy batch cooking veg for the freezer and I’m about to have my shower.

Good morning and Happy St Patrick’s Day!

It’s quite dull and breezy, we had a muddy walk this morning and more rain is forecast for later.

Joe has gone to Cheltenham. He looked very smart when he left this morning, although he was just a flat cap and a pocket watch away from looking like an extra in Peaky Blinders.

Just waiting for the Tesco delivery now, it’s due in the next hour.

Have a good day all, and enjoy your weekend away Al!

hello all, happy Friday and happy St Patrick's day!

I'm in the office today - unusual these days for a Friday; but we have a board meeting and AGM happening so we have to be here :( :(

Weather is bleh and matches my mood. I ordered too much food for the lunch so need to sort it out and will then hopefully see a number of homeless people on the way to the station to pass it on but if it's raining they will be somewhere sheltered (I hope). Oh well.

hope you all have a lovely day with all the bits and bobs you're doing; take it easy those that need to xxx
