Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 16 Mar 2023, 06:16

Good morning.

Glorious sunshine and 27°. 8-)

We're getting the bus into Malaga this morning to meet Jacob for breakfast.
No Conor as he's in Cordoba with Lucia for five days. He's been sending some gorgeous pics. :D

Home this afternoon to get my rucksack ready for tomorrow as it's an early start and I'll paint my nails too. :D

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny, with hazy sun and a little cool at the moment. 23C for us.

Flip flops on :Hi: and although I started with just one layer, I've put a t-shirt on

Grumpy will be strimming after breakfast and I have weeding to do.

We're going to leave the last two trees in their pots for now, they're just too small and thin to plant out. I can keep an eye on them, as we'll keep them bythe house.

Roast pork for dinner. I couldn't find any chicken breasts for the stir fry in the freezers, but found a lump of pork

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s quite bright out but looks a little watery although no rain is forecast. Off to dance practice this morning, then back to collect Kellie from school. Michael will be here for his dinner as he is off from school. So a normal Thursday.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Had a lovely chat with my sister last night. They have a lovely trip booked, Croatia, Ireland, all over the place, some of it rail travel and there's a cruise slipped in there too. They will be with us for a few days in September, it will be so lovely to see them.

Usual shopping day for us, we'll be off to M&S in the next hour or so. Need to return one item from the order I picked up last week, in fairness I did buy cotton trousers in 2 sizes, there's no consistency these days. Keeping the smaller ones, but tbh not sure that means much lol I'm picking up another pair in a different colour plus a top, will be interesting to see how that goes. It's not just different styles that vary, but sometimes the same item varies in size from colour to colour

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, glorious drizzle here. ;)
Not cold though.
The child Eliza is due on the premises this afternoon. We think so anyway. Our daughter and son in law are supposed to be going to see George Ezra tonight in Leeds, but he cancelled his London show on Tuesday with just 90 minutes notice citing vertigo, so no one really knows if tonight's gig is on or not.
Jen, that sounds a lovely trip and how nice for you to see your sister.
have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all, it’s dull and showery but a bit milder here today.

The jigsaw from hell is finished! Well, almost. Whoever did it before appears to have lost a piece so it only has 999 pieces now. It’s an edge piece that’s missing so I knew within an hour of starting it that it wasn’t there but hoped that maybe I’d missed it in the box even though I’d taken every piece out looking for it. Oh well, time to break it up and send it onto it’s next victim.

Tom’s on strike so he and John are at mother in law’s house, there was an awful crash which closed the M5 yesterday and the journey took them five hours.

Joe will be back after work, I’m trying to think what to make for our dinner.

Have a good day all :)

Hope it stays warm for you, Jan xx

Have a good pootle Cruiser xx

Enjoy dance practice Osc :) xx

Jen I agree about their sizing  xx

I hope that gig goes ahead Crommers xx

Jo, that would drive me nuts!

No big shop required this week, as we’re away from Saturday morning, but I did need a couple of bits and Mick needed to collect a prescription, so we did nip to Sainsburys. Have done a big clean through, and a wash load, and we’re just having some lunch. Pilates tonight.

Love to all xxx
