Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun, cloud and rain for us today and 22C :D

Off to Ourique in a mo, to get the shopping out of the way as we're expecting the delivery of the shrubs today - sometime  Just means a phone call from them and a very quick drive down to the bar from me

Won't put them in just yet, have to decide where they and the new trees will be going 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s bitterly cold and grey here and snow is forecast for later.

I’m doing a jigsaw. It’s now known as the jigsaw from hell. I can usually do a 1000 piece jigsaw on and off over two days but I started it on Saturday and I’ve not achieved much apart from doing the edges and a few bits of detail. It’s an online challenge though so I can’t give up on it. I’m part of a crochet group on Facebook and one of the members had this made, she took the photo at a NT property in the north and thought it’d make a nice jigsaw and when she came to do it she realised it wasn’t  so she set the challenge. Can’t even cheat and say I’ve completed it because part of the challenge is to post a photo when it’s finished
The picture on the box is no help as it’s small and the colours don’t exactly match to the puzzle :?

Morning all, it’s bright and sunny but breezy and cold. We got up early as we were expecting a parcel but the postman on the parcel van obviously didn’t ring the bell properly as the card is timed 9.10 and I actually looked at the clock at exactly that time  Thing is, he only lives up the road. I’ve texted our letter postman who might sort it to save me driving to the sorting office to collect it. A few things on my list this morning, first one done as I’ve had a chat on the phone with my brother. Then I’ll be collecting Kellie from school this afternoon and Michael is coming for dinner as it is his school half day.

Jo, 1000 pieces in two days, I’m beyond impressed  Miss Osc gave me a 1000 piece (my first that size) for Christmas and I’m really struggling with it, I reckon it will last me until next Christmas

hello and good morning all

Ally and Kaz, enjoy your respective days :)
Hope the shrubs arrive OK Jan, will be amazing once they and the trees are in
Osc, love that you can text your postman :) ours are chopping and changing at the moment I don't even know their name
Jo, I love puzzles but just don't have space where I could leave it out - good luck with that one!
Victor, try the puzzle - you may surprise yourself and get hooked :)

well I woke up this morning to about 4cm of snow, everything stunning and white; but it's a very very wet snow so the moment you walk on it it just becomes a slushy puddle under your feet. I made it into the office and Nadine is popping up to London this afternoon so we can finish off the scanning and binding etc of her uni portfolio; I've got all the equipment needed here in the office so what would take about 2 hours at home shouldn't take more than 30 mins here

have a lovely day all x

The benefits of a postman living locally - I texted our own postman who then phoned the guy in the van who, as I said, just lives up the road. Result - package delivered by Barry as he was on his way back to the sorting office :D The package was our costumes for the ‘60s night at the dance break at the end of the month. We’ve had fun trying them on

Morning all :D

No snow, but wet and windy

It's my eldest daughter's birthday today, she's 58 shock horror :o it's official I'm definitely an ancient relic

Blood test went well, I'm signed up for three years so will be doing it all over again this time next year. We even managed to get home before the rain really set in. No plans for today, tbh looking out of the window, staying indoors is the best place to be.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon everybody.
Back to being a paper boy. The lady at the top of the crescent hascreturned from Australia so I have now started again bringingher a paper.
Then after breakfast I walked down to the surgery as i was having myeyes tested. As Igot closer to the surgery I noticed cars were stopping and turning round.
Thw cars had colided in the road at the entrance to the car park formthe surgery. I am glad I had walked down.
My appointment was for 9.30 a.m Soon taken in and I was out in time to catch a bus at 10.00 a.m to come home.
Have made some phone calls and had a delivery of plants by Evri. It is a lovely lady and we a;ways have a little chat.
WE have grey skies but it is dry. No sign of frost or the white stuff which has been mentioned by someone who lives near London.

Just pootling this afternoon
Have a goodday everybody
