Morning all :)

Looking forward to both of those telly treats, Al :) xx

Another grey and chilly one here. Out for brunch in a while, then round to see D and put out her bins, but this afternoon I really must start going through our holiday clothes to see if we need anything. In two week's time we'll be on a plane to Cyprus :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

We have rain :Hi: Not a huge amount yet, but rain is forecast for the next few days and we're into double figure at night too :Hi:

I let Molly out at 6.00 and it was dry then, but quite cool. She's now back in, rather wet  But being wet doesn't seem to bother her and she loves being rubbed dry

A day for doing not a lot, bar reading and eating :D

We will raise a glass to a very good friend who died on Friday, he was 92, so had a good, long life. We met him and his wife years ago in Fuzeta and they came up here not long after we moved and he would have loved to live somewhere like this, but it wasn't for Gem.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning, just.
Slept in a bit today.
Grey and 5c here this morning. Not raining though, the last month or so has been pretty dry.
Only one guest for dinner today.
I've been for a paper. Yesterday MrsC and I went to a 12th century Church to have a nosey around. Is that a Norman Church?
The tower had carved gargoyles on every corner; it was built in 1120 - more than 900 years ago!
It would be nice if wine dropped in price here, but I'll not hold my breath!
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all, a bit late on parade today! We had a late night last night, bed at 1am, after a lovely evening of dancing and chatting. We discovered that the theme night at the dance break in a few weeks is 1960s so we spent time this morning researching and then ordering costumes, goodness only knows what they will be like but it’s only for a laugh. Then we dragged ourselves out for a walk around the block, and back now doing very little for the rest of the day. Dancing with the Stars Ireland, Endeavour and The Gold tonight, also the original Come Dancing, so a great evening for tv.

Hello and good afternoon everyone

Jan, sorry about your friend - 92 is a fabulous age though x
Osc, the 60's costumes sound huge fun - already looking forward to seeing the photo's

Well a quiet day here, so much that I should be doing outside (and inside), but I really just don't have my usual mojo :( which is not quite like me; but I think a lot is to do with the weather; I am longing for warmer days; done with this cold.

I've been spending the day trying to figure out my new bathroom. Just when I thought I knew what I wanted, something else comes up from another website.
I'm 100% certain on bath and loo, and 95% sure on the basin; but it's the taps that are giving me the most grief... what I like is just silly expensive. And then trying to match shower taps to bath and basin; well that's a totally different ball game and you seriously need a darn degree (combined with lots of patience and wine!)

And showers - soooooo many things to consider; choose from - sigh. But it will be worth it when all done

not much else to report so have a lovely rest of the day everyone xxxx
