Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 11 Feb 2023, 07:23

Good morning.

I forgot to post yesterday.

I'm not surprised. Thursday's quiet drink turned into a party.

Yesterday I went out with David then met up with Don and the gang for Friday beers and tapas.

Today we're going to a birthday BBQ. :D

I've promised myself to stay in tomorrow.

Have a great day.

Good morning Aly and anybody else who is up.

Another grey day but no rain. Just pootling and tidying up. Not going out as I got enough food yesterday. May get the washing ready so it can dry
overnight on the maiden near the CH boiler.

Have a good day everybody

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny, but blowy

Will vac and mop the floors today and we're meeting friends down at the bar this afternoon.

Beef curry tonight, rather than chicken.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a dull day here but dry. We are going to see Michael playing soccer this morning, his team is top of their league and they are playing the team that is second so we’ll be hoping for a win. Then home so Edward can watch rugby and I can do whatever - read, knit, jigsaw.

Good afternoon.
It's been a cold,grey day here today.
MrsC is at our daughter's house, I'm doing some paperwork.
My friend in France has rescued a kitten they found behind their barn. They have taken her to the vets (90 euros) and bought her a basket. They have called her Felicity, as she has been lucky. She is only four or five weeks old and the overnight temps there (near Limoges) are very cold atm.
Have a good day all.

Got a video from Em, Her daughter is on a horseracing holiday in Zimbabwe - the vid was of her bungee jumping over Victoria Falls   Also had a message from Hannah, my niece, we're trying to arrange a weekend up in Manchester, where she lives, before her wedding in June - just me and B, Hannah and her mum, my sister Julie. Shopping! :D Late April is looking favourite so far , we're looking for an outfit for J and just maybe for B and myself 8-)

Love to all :) xx

Afternoon all, it’s dull here but quite mild.

John and Joe went to the Park Run on Cannock Chase with Andrew and his son Alex who live opposite, that’s becoming a regular Saturday morning thing and they’re really enjoying it. Tom went into work for the morning as they were having a recruitment day.

After John and Joe got back and we’re showered the three of us walked Bill on Hednesford Hills. There are cows grazing on parts of it, they were especially vocal this morning. Made me jump a few times

I’ve been for a hair cut this afternoon, had around 2” cut off. It hadn’t been cut since the weekend before the meet up so was more than ready!

I’ve been looking at booking trains too, me and Joe are off to the league cup final at Wembley in two weeks so I wanted to suss out the times and prices but I don’t want to book just yet in case a strike is announced in the next day or two.

Kaz, Manchester’s a good place for shopping!

Enjoy the rest of the day all x
