Postby Ally » 03 Feb 2023, 07:07

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 20°. 8-)

Walk shortly. :D

Some food shopping mid morning.

I need to look at flights to the UK for July to Birmingham for Don and myself. :cute:
Don will come home before me and I'll stay on tagging Scotland and Nottingham on to the visit. 8-)

Friday beers and tapas tonight. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny, cold and still frosty. Warm later though at 17C 8-)

Was rather surreal looking out across the fields earlier. White fields, white sheep and a little mist

Cleaning and cooking head on today. Going to try a new recipe, chicken and chorizo. I bought a couple of different one's this week, pimento and garlic and the other one with beer, so I'll add half of each to the dish.

Off out for dinner tonight :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s sunny here and quite mild. We’re forecast 13° today which will do nicely considering that it’s February

Bill’s had his walk, there was a gorgeous sunrise as we walked home. Since coming back I’ve changed the bedding and the first load is in the washing machine. The Tesco order is due between 11 and 12, and I’m hoping that a parcel arrives today. I mainly drink coffee but can only drink it with Coffee Mate in it and it’s not been available for weeks. I found some reasonably priced on EBay but had to bulk buy three large containers which is fine, it’ll be used. That was supposed to be delivered by Royal Mail on Wednesday but it’s not yet arrived and typically Coffee Mate was showing as back in stock at Tesco last night. I didn’t bother ordering it though else I’ll have a cupboard full if this order arrives  I’ve only got enough to last perhaps until Sunday if it doesn’t turn up today.

What a nuisance Saundra, hope it’ll soon be sorted out x

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Nice and bright.

Hope you don't have to wait too long to get your tv sorted Saundra, I'd be lost without ours.

We really need to pop over to M&S, but will probably have to wait till tomorrow as we're waiting in for Boots to deliver my prescriptions. Annoying really, I could have collected them while I was in town yesterday, but they didn't ring to say they were ready until late afternoon. Oh well, the washing's on so I have plenty to keep me busy today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Well another day with plans gone awry here  Mick had booked the car in for service and MOT at 8.30, so he dropped me off at Emma's as she lives around the corner from the SW meeting. So far, so good, meeting went well, we both lost weight  Then I got a message from Mick, they were doing the service, but the MOT but was off sick - it can't be done into Monday, so we won't be able to use the car on Sunday  :cute:

I got a bus from the meeting up to D's to go with her to her hearing aid follow-up, Mick walked up to D's with the dog, and waited there for us to get back, had a bit of lunch and waited until the service was finished - no issues thankfully, so it should go through the MOT ok. Fingers crossed

As it turned out, it was quite fortunate that Mick was at D's as one of the grandsons popped in to see her, and nobody would have been in!

Sorry about your telly Saundra, I hope it will get sorted xxx

Love to all xxx
