Good morning you two and everyone else.

Cruiser, I'm really looking forward to the lighter mornings. Good luck with the tyres
Ally, enjoy your day, sounds a perfect combination of busy and chill time

I'm hopefully on the end spurt of the 'wall removal'. Skirting boards and coving are in place and Steve is coming round today to do the painting; really hoping he'll get it all done in one day so I can spend the weekend sorting out what furniture goes where. Aerial guy is coming to install a 2nd phone socket and move the aerial socket from the side of the house to the back. The last thing will be the electrics, but that's not a messy job and can be done without having to continuously move furniture.

Usual work day sort of, will be heading over to help Nadine with some uni work this afternoon; so will be working from there.

Dull and grey today but not cold at all. Was looking around in the garden yesterday, snow drops are up, daffs are pushing through... all very early (well not the snow drops, but the rest); just hope we don't have another long cold spell like we did

Have a lovey day all x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

I'm feeling much better today so off to the hairdresser this morning. Going in by bus as it's such a nice day, E's coming too, he needs to visit the barber. My hair takes so long he'll probably have a walk round the harbour, I expect a cheeky pint will fit in somewhere ;)

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning everyone

Sunny and frost now gone, but still cold. A balmy 17C for us.

washing out in the sun and I've got my cooking head on this morning, making stuff for the freezer.

Also have some ironing, but that might wait until Saturday.

Hope the owrk is soon finished Ria, I know what it's like to live in a building site.

Have a good day everyone, sounds busy over there xx

Glad you’re feeling better Jen xx

Jan, ironing can always wait ;) xx

Well all change here! D rang to say she wasn’t feeling too good, so after making sure she didn’t need anything Mick took me shopping instead. We’ve just unloaded it at home, and come straight out again as Mick’s having a blood test - just his usual 6 monthly one for the meds he takes for BP. I’m sitting in the car with Fraggle waiting for him, and I think Mick wants to go out for lunch. Still Pilates tonight

Good afternoon.
A grey day here. Not cold though.
We have been for our passport photos taking, we'll do the on-line application this afternoon.
This afternoon I will be making a bolognese and waiting in for the fish man.

No idea how hot it got, but the fleece came off and a normal jumper went on. Now back in the fleece ;)

Cooked a shepherds pie base, beer in stout, beer in red wine and now they're all in the freezer. I'm going to try a new recipe, chicken and chorizo tomorrow. I bought chorizo with pimento and garlic and another one with beer, so that will be stuffed in the freezer department.

Ham, egg and chips for dinner, nice and easy. Proper chips, not air fryer, for a change.
