Good morning.

Lovely sunrise and another day of 16°. Roll on Wednesday.

Off for my walk soon. :D

After a hectic weekend socialising I'm very happily going to stay in today with my Kindle and the sofa.

TV tonight. Monday is quiz fest.

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Sunny but cold. 28C at the front of the house in the sun and 6C at the back, by the frost

Washing out, although I think it'll take a while to dry, until it warms up a bit more.

I'll water the potted plants this morning and myself this afternoon, when the water has had a chance to warm up ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Got half way through my shower and the water pressure slowed to a trickle. Honestly this whole water thing is getting ridiculous. Especially as we've just had a letter offering a paltry £30 compensation and saying the issues have all been fixed. Well obviously they haven't and according to their own website we're actually owed £90 compensation. As you can imagine our local Fb groups are up in arms and pushing for the full amount.

No plans for today, expecting a Tesco delivery later this afternoon and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

hello all and good afternoon

Seems the regular Monday apologies for radio silence over the weekend are in order  . Had a lovely but busy one - a colleague from the US came over and is staying close to where I live. So I collected her Saturday morning and got her settled in her apartment (she's here for just under 2 months); then back home for breakfast then out for a nail appointment and ended up out the rest of the day and having dinner with Karl and Nadine. Sunday a quick domestic dash around the house then picked up Tara at midday and she joined us for the rest of the day and bowling followed by dinner. Early start this morning as the builder is in today to attach skirting boards and maybe (hopefully) get a start on the coving and then tomorrow (I think) it's painting - so I needed to clear all the walls etc - was meant to do it over the weekend but somehow that just didn't happen

In the office today and tomorrow, then it's train strike

have a lovely day everyone x

Afternoon all, it’s been a bright and sunny day :D

I’ve had a tidy up in the garden, sorted some things out for a charity bag which is being collected tomorrow and been for a run. And walked Bill before all of that, of course.

It was a full weekend, and me and Joe broke our record for getting back from Manchester on Saturday night. We left the car park at Old Trafford at 10.05pm and I was in the house with a mug of tea in my hand at 11.25! Joe quickly got changed and went out to meet his friends at a sports bar

Joe’s just back from work, Amanda finishes work at 6 so he’s picking her up and bringing her over and she’s staying tonight.
