Morning >Ally, morning everyone

Sun is out after last nights unexpected rain, but we're in for the coldest day of the year so far. Luckily, no frost or snow, but cold at 12C

Off to Ourique after a warming breakfast, for the normal runaround. Then heading over to Garvao, where a friend has a load of books for me :Hi: :Hi: Pit stop for coffee and check the post on the way back.

I'll put what washing out I can when we get home.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.
Jan 12C would be lovely. It snowed and then froze last night and it is still cold. The pavements are like skating rinks.
There is a blue sky but I am not venturing out again today. I do not want to slip on the ice.
Will have to bring the wheelie bins in to the garage. It is up the short drive and I will have something to hold onto.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, another sunny but cold one - when I got up, the temperature in the house was 11 degrees brrrr. Outside it is just over 2 degrees. However the frost was not as heavy overnight as it was yesterday, The mechanic servicing the car had said he would be here about 8.30am and fair dues, he was at the door at 8.31, he says he will have it back by lunchtime. He lives locally, and it made a huge difference to me not having to bring it to his workshop. Different things on today’s list - make hair appointment for next week, do some hand washing, change the bedding, and photograph some travel bags to put them on the local FB Freecycle page. I have one load of washing in the machine and another ready to go in. Plenty to keep me busy and warm!

Good morning all.
Sunny and blinking freezing again here.
Off to our son's to check that the doylem has turned his heating off before going to work, then to pick up a prescription, then get a paper, then get in the house and stay in it.
I'll just knock an icicle off my beard and by on my way.
Have a lovely day everyone.

hello and good morning everyone

Cruiser, do you not have a neighbour that can help you with the bin?
Jan, yay re the books - enjoy!
Ally, Osc, Crommers and Vic, enjoy your days doing the bits you are

I'm in the office today - left home a bit later to make sure it was light so I could see any potential icy spots on the roads, but must stay - the gritters have been out and it was all good; so well done them! Trains are a bit of a nightmare at the moment; there was a huge landslip on Sunday further down the line from where I live, but it's affected so many of the trains so lots of delays and cancellations; the guys are working flat out to get the line reopened but with the ground being fairly frozen and then rain expected over the weekend again I think it's going to be quite a challenge for them.

I'll probably leave early to make sure I get a train home

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine and very frosty.

We're off out for a walk before lunch, not sure if we'll actually get down the steps, my hip is playing up so what with that and the ankle I'm a complete crock. Whether it's along the cliff top or the promenade we'll by the sea which will be lovely. Think I'll definitely need the ear muffs today.

Hope you all have a good day xx
