Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 14 Jan 2023, 06:27

Good morning.

The forecast for the next week is sunny and 20°. Not too bad for winter. 8-)

Going for a walk then plan to read and relax for the day. :D

We're going out with friends tonight for an Indian meal. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

It was thick fog earlier, so no chance of any internet, but that has gone and the sky is blue, the sun is out and we're in for another warm day. Only 16C for us, but it will feel a lot warmer in the sun.

Small pile of ironing to get through this morning and hopefully head outside this afternoon. Everything is so wet out there, but it will dry and then Grumpy can do some strimming and I can do some weeding..

No bar this afternoon, they're off down to the Algarve, to visit their grandson, who is three today :D

One of my grandsons is off on a skiing trip this afternoon. Coach trip to Italy for a week, first time he's been away on his own, Julia is a bit worried, but he'll be fine.

Chciken curry and chips for us, after a few beers, sat in the sun :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Jan I hope your grandson has a lovely time skiing :) xx

Cruiser it’s raining here too  xx

Well as already mentioned it’s a wet day here, it seems yesterday was just a brief pause in the relentless downpours :cute:  We’re in Portivo for breakfast, I’m having poached eggs as they’re ok on my diet. The usual Saturday stuff afterwards.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all, it’s bright and sunny here but cold and windy. I see the coastguard down on the pier, still searching for that poor man, what agony his family must be going through. Today we are going for a family photoshoot with Miss Osc etc. - they gave it to us as a gift for our 50th anniversary and 7 months later, we have finally got a day when we can all do it  So I’ll be taking extra care with my hair and makeup! We’re hoping to go for something to eat afterwards but it’s been hard trying to get a booking, Miss Osc has tried a few restaurants. The plumber is coming this morning to put in one more part, there is still a tiny leak from the boiler so he’ll have a look at that. I think I’ll have my shower quickly as I’m sure he’ll be turning off the water >>>>>>

Good morning.
It rained overnight and seems a bit colder today.
Nothing whatsoever arranged for today.
I do need some new tyres for the car though, and a new bulb for the side light.
Have a good day all, enjoy the match Jo.

Morning all :D

Wet and very windy

We had a nice lie in too Saundra. I'm sure there are lots of things that I could be doing, but I'm in lazy mode and doubt anything much will get me moving today

Hope you all have a good day xx

Well, we got almost to 22C this afternoon, was truly a lovely January day :Hi:

Worked hard in the garden, veggie plot now weeded and cleared and Grumpy strimmed this afternoon, whilst I carried on weeding a path.

Stopped for a beer, sat in the sun, shoes and socks came off  as did jumpers, but we put hats on, as the sun was rather warm.

Have just come inside, to find a message to say the bar was open and why weren't we there? When will my friends remember that I have a phone that makes and receives phone calls, texts and that's it????

Still, they had a good time anyway.

Grumpy just about to light the fire and there is dross on the tele, so will have to watch Portuguese tv, which is just about as bad.

Think I might get my book out.

Well done to your lot Jo :Hi: Heaven knows what's wrong with my lot
