Good morning Ally.

It is cold and trying to rain. Hoping a parcel willbe delivered today. I was out on Friday when the courier came. They didn't leave it with a neighbour.
Will be doing some ironing as I put the washer on last night. Probably do some dusting and polishing.

Hae a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

A lovely, sunny morning, although a little chilly at the moment. Cold night coming up, down to 3C

I have a small pile of ironing to get through and that's about my lot today. I'm giving my back a rest from all the bending over, weeding, so the donkeys will be making a lot of noise

Stew for dinner, made it on Sunday, so should have festered nicely :D :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Merry morning all

Well here we are, the first working day of 2023 - and already back the the regular usual / usual

Cruiser, hope the parcel arrives today
Ally and Jan, enjoy your days doing the domestic bits and the relax bits

well as said; back to the usual / usual for me. Damp and grey out there. Was at the vet at 8am this morning to drop off Jamie for a dental; poor girl has horrendous gingivitis and most likely will need a minimum of 2 teeth extracted (if we're lucky) but I suspect it'll be more. I can call between 1 and 2pm to see how things went and then pick her up again later this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone; stay warm and dry (for those in the UK) x

Morning all, it’s damp and dreary here and plenty of rain forecast. We are heading into town for a mooch as Edward has seen a shirt in Marks that he likes the look of. We might have lunch out, we’ll see. Watched the Downton Abbey film last night, really enjoyed it.

Morning all :)

Well it’s back to normal here, and weather to match as it’s bucketing down  :cute:  Out to Sainsburys in a bit, then round to see D to see how she got on with her optician’s appointment this morning. We offered to take her, but she was determined to go by herself. I’ll take some soup for lunch.

Ria, hope Jamie gets on ok xx

Love to all xxx

Morning all :D

Damp and overcast here.

Ria hope all goes well with Jamie.
We watched the Downton Abbey film last night too Osc, lovely.

Yesterday stayed nice all day so E decided to get the outside lights down. We've left the wreath on the door, that can come down on 12th night. We'll probably tackle the tree and indoor decs tomorrow.

We need fresh veg and a few other bits so we'll be popping out to our small Tesco in the next hour or so, our first outing since just before Christmas, it's bound to be a shock to the system

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
I hope poor Jamie is OK Ria.
1c here atm. Blinking cold, in other words.
MrsC is as our son's house doing a bit of cleaning.
I need to get an electrician organised but they all seem to have lots of work on.
We need a couple of bits so a quick trip to our Sainsbury's local is in order.
Have a nice day everyone.

Afternoon all, it’s been a day of rain and now the wind has picked up too.

Back to normal here today. I’ve had a really good clean through the house, not that it hasn’t been done over the last couple of weeks but it’s easier to do when there’s no one else in the way

Joe’s just back from work so we’re setting off for Manchester within the hour. Looking at the forecast for there I think we’re going to get wet as it’s looking worse than here. Even though our seats are 20 rows back we got wet last week as the wind was blowing the rain into us, I could’ve done with wipers on my glasses

Hope Jamie gets on okay Ria x

Jen, we looked at the forecast last night and quickly took the wreath off the door, the icicle lights off the garage and the strings of lights off two trees. Didn’t fancy having lights lying around drying for days.

Enjoy the rest of the day all :)
