Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Misty start but should be another lovely day later.

Off to Aldi soon, as the change of plan for Christmas Day means I want to get some stuff for a potato salad and black bean hot salad.

Back for a sausage baguette and then attack what surfaces I can see to clean.

Out in the garden this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s absolutely miserable here, non-stop rain :( It’s going to be an easy day, washing into and then out of the washing machine, usual tidying around, then this evening we are going to our Friday night dance Christmas party which will be fun. :Hi:

Morning all :)

Wet, wet, wet

Some people in Kent are still without water. It was bad enough being without for almost 2 days, it must be ghastly for those who have been without for a week now. Southern Water have their faults, but they did keep us informed, set up very efficient water stations and overall managed our situation well. So glad we're not supplied by South East Water, they've been dreadful and left a lot of people without water for almost a week now, some won't get their supply back before Christmas!!

Z&M took the two younger boys to The Harry Potter Studio Tour yesterday evening. Noah is a huge fan, judging by the photo's on Fb this morning they all had a great time. So glad we went some years ago, we loved it. It's had a few additions since then, would love to do it again but it's too much walking for me these days.

Busy day for me, washing and bed change. Want to get it all done today so we can relax tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day Image

Afternoon all :)

We've had a very pleasant time with Hannah and Armand, they arrived late afternoon after a terrible journey down from Manchester - H counted that they passed seven accidents  We had dinner, then watched the Bond film on telly. We took them out for breakfast this morning, and they've just left for Luton. They're a lovely couple, and H and I have always been close :) Becky has gone to her Dad's today, the trains aren't on strike, but there are cancellations so fingers crossed!

Jen, those poor people :( xx

Love to all xxx

Afternoon all, it’s pouring down here and has been all morning.

We had a lovely day in Norfolk yesterday. It’s a 400 mile round trip but it’s quite a nice journey. We put new flowers on John’s Dad’s grave before heading to Great Yarmouth for fish and chips. We had a walk along the prom in the drizzle after that before heading into Norwich, it’s such a lovely city.

The Tesco delivery came this morning, it took me by surprise because it was booked for between 11 and 12 but arrived at 10.15. All the essentials were there though apart from eggs, I had to send my Dad’s rice pudding back as they’d subbed his Ambrosia for Tesco own brand and if it’s not a big brand name he won’t have it.

Just waiting to hear back from a friend, I need to drop a bag of presents off for her so I’m hoping someone will be in tonight.

Right, time for another cuppa I think!

Have a good day all :)
