Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning. Cool at the moment, but will be 19C later.

Off to castro Verde after coffee. The bank needs us to sign something and we need the bank to sign something 8-) I'll take a bottle of wine for Eduardo, as he's been so helpful :D

Into the phone shop, to hopefully sort out the useless sim card Grumpy has in it. 3.50 a week, he's supposed to use  I don't use that a month, and he never uses his phone  Emergencies only, that one.

Breakfast somewhere in Castro and then stop at the not so good Intermarche for rolls and cat treats. And pastry, I forgot yesterday

Back home and we'll probably head outside to do whatever.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Going to the bank and some shopping. Then back home to do ironing. Will be making some phone calls and then relaxing this evening.
May buy a DVD while I am out to watch on my new TV over Christmas.

Have a good day everybody

Morning all :)

Damp, but sunny.

We were up and out really early, quick dash to M&S for a few last bits. Glad we did, they opened at 6am and it was already building up when we got there. Even more people by the time we left, it will be unbearable by mid morning. We definitely won't be venturing there again much before NY.

Not much happening for the rest of the day, intending to be nice and lazy.

Hope you all have a good day Image

Morning all, it’s wet and dreary here, but we are wearing our Christmas jumpers as today is gingerbread house day with Kellie and Michael. Kellie is already here and Michael is going to get his hair cut and will come here afterwards. We’ll go out to eat this evening. We’ve been watching live coverage of the funeral of an Irish UNIFIL soldier who was killed in Lebanon last week - full military funeral. Somehow or other, his mother found the strength to speak from the altar about her son - it was so very sad. Kellie has brought books to read, I’m delighted to see that one of them is The Twins at St Clare’s by Enid Blyton, I read all those books when I was young, as did Miss Osc.

I read all those books too Osc. Whatever they say about Enid Blyton books, I loved them and remember them fondly.

Good morning all.
Grey here and raining steadily. I need some cash for presents and a paper so we will be off to the atm soon.
Then into Wakefield where MrsC and I will be having lunch at a nice Italian restaraunt.
After that the day might be spent with feet up!
Yes Jen, I bet M&S was packed. We still need a couple of items for Christmas dinner; tomorrow this will have to be sorted.
That is sad Osc; I read the story last week.
Your are a good cat mum Jan!
Have a good day all.

That was a long morning

So pleased that Eduardo was sorting us out, would have taken me weeks 8-) Still, it took him over half an hour, and he was delighted with the bottle of wine we took in for him.

Sorted out the sim card for Grumpy's phone, so now he has to remember to use it occasionally

A lovely breakfast of a toasta mista (ham and cheese) and a lot cheaper than last time we went in

Grumpy iss down in the veg plot, weeding and I've been in the kitchen, chopping up chicken, curry now cooked, dinner prepped and I'm heading outside in the sun.

Almost spring like outside, lovely 8-)
