Morning Ally, morning everyone

Going to be a much better day today - we have sun for a start 8-)

Off to Ourique soon, to get some money, Aldi, Pingo and chemist and that's it for shopping, for a week or so.

Will try and get outside this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally & Janb.
We also have sun. It is still chilly but no rain. Have been to Lidl. It is the nearest supermarket. I want some herbs so I can make stuffing. Will have to
try Aldi or Asda later.
Am going to make some pigs in blankets. Got some nice sausages and bacon. They will be much bigger and tastied than the shop ones.
Will put the washing on so will be ironing later and tomorrow.

Havea good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s a lovely sunny morning but with a cold wind. Still, not wet so that’s good. I’ve been to the post office to get some money, and also bought some milk. Edward is busy icing the Christmas cake, and when he has finished we’ll go and visit his sister - her first Christmas without her husband, so I thought we’d get her some flowers and I have some books for her too. Nothing else planned for the day, I finished the pile of ironing yesterday, it wasn’t as much as I thought so I put on music and got it done quite quickly. We also assembled the gingerbread house yesterday and it is still standing this morning  waiting for Michael and Kellie to decorate it tomorrow.

Slight change of plan for this afternoon.

Meeting David and Rita down at the bar at three. They're supposed to be in Lagos, but Rita's mum is only coming down by train tomorrow, so they'll go then. As David said, you'd think Canada would be used to heavy snow and get their act together, but looks like his son won't make Christmas, due to the snow over there.

Still have no idea if we're going out for lunch on Christmas Day or staying put :?

Morning everyone.

Glad to hear things are going well for everyone.

It is clear and bright here, but a bit chilly at 5 °C, at least there is no wind so it feels OK when out walking.

I am assembling a bathroom unit a bit later. It fits round the sink stand so that I can put cleaning stuff and a few loo rolls away instead of them being on the windowsill. Apart from that it will be a lazy day.

Keep fit and warm.

Morning all :)

Mild again today, but I think we're in for a few showers.

So nice to be back to normal water supplies, being without for a couple of days certainly makes you more appreciative.

We're having another lazy day, expecting a Tesco delivery later this afternoon and that's as exciting as it gets.

Hope you all have a good day Image

Afternoon all, it’s a sunny and clear day here. The forecast for today was totally wrong - it was supposed to be raining from dawn until mid-afternoon.

Tom’s gone into work for a few hours. Me and Joe were going to the match tonight but we’ve decided not to. We’ve both got early starts tomorrow, we’re up there at a match on Tuesday night anyway and we’ve got three much more important home games in the first two weeks of January.

John’s just home from work, he’s finished now until after New Year. He’s only been home 5 minutes and is already watching car renovation videos on YouTube. He drives me mad with constant car programmes, it’ll be a long two weeks unless I find a way of blocking YouTube and Dave

I need to go out to buy flowers this afternoon, me and John are heading down (or is it across?) to Norwich for the day in the morning so we’ll take some flowers to his Dad’s grave. No one’s been since we were there last Christmas although there’s a cousin who keeps an eye on things as her Dad’s buried nearby and the cemetery groundkeepers tidy up too.

Have a good day all :)
