We have thick snow! We woke to a blanket of it, but it was passable so Mick and I went out to Corretto’s, sitting inside for once   It looked very Christmassy there, with the market stall, lights, and the ice rink :D

Round to D’s to put out her bins and put sand on her path. J and J WhatsApp’d whilst we were there, I sign of snow down in Weymouth but our nephew C is feeling the cold as he only flew in from Qatar yesterday. I told him he didn’t need to bring the snow with him! :x

Stay warm, everyone! ;) :D xx

Yes, that’s right! My great grandad was a caretaker there, it gave him the right to marry my great grandmother at St George’s in Hanover Square, and they lived in Westminster for a while. My Nan was born there, in St Thomas’s Hospital. He joined the Navy just before WWI started and was lost at sea, not long after war broke out when HMS Hawke was sunk by a U-boat, which was very sad.
