Have to admit when it happened to me I was that upset
And I hate to say it I paid the bill for the second time with a credit card
So actually I was in fact in credit
It did sort it's self out in the end

Blimey WM, what a nightmare. Well done for getting it sorted.

Tbh I couldn't cope with the worry of a key, much prefer to pay by DD.

It's a landlord thing, Jen, I have no choice. Even if I did DD it would be my least preferred option, I like to pay for what I use not what some bean counter no-mark thinks I might use in my winter (highest) bill and then charge it year round, DD will never be for me. SP, take note: £170 year round DD for gas when I barely use £90 in the winter months.

DD is a con and the companies know and use it: "We'll give you a discount". That will be from my over payment and free money you invested to make more money from my spring and summer credit. Thank you so much.

I had to threaten Evri- It was Hermes to get payment for a parcel which was not delivered. I had sent it to a friend in Birmingham. Said it was put through the letter box.
I knew it would not fit. ONe day before I was going to start legal proceedings I got payment.

Similar problem with gettingrefund for train tickets after the July meet was cancelled. It took nearly two months to get the refund. They said one cheque had
been lost in the post. This was before the strikes had started. Why they could not refund it to my credit card not explained.
They have your money and make it very difficult to get a refund. Very poor customer service as you cannot speak to a normal person.

just catching up with this - that is shocking Frank; glad you got it sorted but frustrating as it really shouldn't have happened in the first place!

Make sure you follow up - they probably will give you a month or so of credit on your account
