good morning all

Jen, good luck with your appointment and Cruiser, hope the locksmith is able to sort out your door for you.
Vic, cutie pooch - what's her name?

A very frosty morning here as well; put the windscreen cover over the car last night which made a big different. Such a beautiful drive to the station, pale blue / grey skies - the full moon still up in front of me with the sun coming up behind me; mist coming from the ground and everything touched with frost and sparkling in the sunshine - absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately there isn't anywhere suitable to stop to take photo's but I may try tomorrow when I'm not rushing to catch a train.

Enjoy all the bits and bobs everyone is up to and stay warm everyone x

Inbetween the downpours, I had a little squelch around the garden  Peered into the pool to see how much rain we'd had over night (about an inch) and saw a lizard, just sat at the bottom of the pool. Fished him out with the netting and put hil, very gently in the garden. Ran off quite happy :Hi:

It's not cold, just very wet

The locksmith has ben and re-positioned the holder into which the lock fits whenn the door is closed. It took him several attempt before he got it correct.
Used new longer screws and there is no draft now. Has cost me £45.00 but I think it is worth it. Have paid him by bank transfer. Have to insert your debit card into
a small card reader. After entereing your pin number on the key pad ypu get another 8 digit number which you then type intomthe form on you PC.
Providing it is correvct youcan proceed with the payment. You do get a red warning to check it is not a scam before authorising the payment. It is
a very secure system as without your debit card and the card reader you cannot make a payment.

Well, what a surprise 8-)

The rain stopped, the clouds disappeared and the sun came out :Hi:

Just spent a very pleasant couple of hours pulling up loads of oxalis. Lovely plant, but dear me, takes over everything. Two very happy donkeys

Grumpy has given the fig tree a very severe hair cut

Clouded over now, so we'll sit at the back with a well deserved beer or two :Hi:

Evening all, it’s been a bright and frosty day.

Bill’s had two very cold walks on the common behind our street. We saw a herd of deer on the lunchtime walk, they looked so festive in the frost

This afternoon we’ve been to the Odeon to see Living, we’d fancied seeing it having seen the trailer every time we went to see a film and then when it was released early last month it was listed at the local one. I was looking for what we could go and see last week and noticed that they had it listed just in the afternoons this week so that worked well with John being off.

I think that’s us in now for the night
