Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 01 Dec 2022, 06:20

Good morning.

Where did November go?!?!

Today's plans include a walk to the park.

A mooch in the shops in Sherwood.

Booking a train to Birmingham for tomorrow. :cute:

A birthday 'do' in Craig's local tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Al and all.
I’m wondering the same about November and I think the milder temperatures we had up until last week have convinced me that it’s earlier in the year than it actually is. December always seems to go by in the blink of an eye so I’d better start some Christmas shopping!

I’m waiting in for the shutters to be delivered today, they should be here sometime between 8 and 6. The delivery will be an interesting experience. Apparently the delivery company aren’t insured to bring items into houses so will only deliver outside so I’m going to have to get 14 heavy and bulky boxes inside while dealing with an overexcited Bill (who loves a delivery!). I’d shut him in the downstairs living room but he’d only open the door and let himself out within seconds

Off to the Odeon tonight to see She Said.

Are we getting the Christmas smilies soon?

Have a good day all x

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

Was rather gloomy earlier, but has brightened up now, after more rain last night.

We've got four dry days, then a couple of weeks of wet stuff :Hi: Apparently, barragems are full or almost full up north, it's just us down here who really need more rain.

Ironing for me this morning and curry making.

Think it will be a day for inside, not a warm day, although the wind has dropped from a hooley yesterday to a brisk breeze

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

How worrying! Do you usually get much rainfall over the Winter months?

Morning all, it’s quite dull here.We usually go to dance practice on Thursday morning, but we got our boosters yesterday and I’ve had a bad reaction to it, so I’m going back to bed when I finish my breakfast to get some sleep. Michael and Kellie will be here later and they will decorate our tree, I did wonder if Michael wouldn’t be bothered but he was keen, which is nice - he is growing up so quickly now but the little boy is still in there somewhere. Right, back to bed and hopefully get a few hours sleep.

Dull, overcast and showers

It's our 49th anniversary today. Usual shopping this morning, then we'll be over at The Greyhound for a celebratory lunch. They'll be seeing a lot of us this weekend

Hope you all have a good day xx

It's been very foggy here today! Out early for my hairdresser's appointment, then straight up to D's to go to Sainsbury's. Not been home long, but Mick had vacuumed while I was out, and I've been round with the floor mop and a duster. About to have some lunch now :) Pilates tonight.

Take care everyone :) xxx
