Morning all :D

Nice and bright at the moment.

We have no water, the pressure was really low yesterday evening and now there's not so much as a drip. So much for wash day :( Luckily we have 4 1 litre bottles of water left over from last time and E managed to fill a couple of saucepans and the kettle. I also filled the coffee machine before going to bed so that was waiting to be turned on this morning. I've been in touch with Southern Water via Fb messenger, they've acknowledged there's a problem, but no time scale as yet. We've been provided with bottled water previously, we're on their priority list so just a case of wait and see..........

Hope you all have a good day xx

hello all and good afternoon

oh dear Jen, that's not good; fingers crossed they sort the problem soon.
Ally, glad you had some rain - that's a VERY long time to not have had any; do you not get water restrictions or do you rely on rainfall from further inland to top up your water table?
Kaz, fingers crossed, Monday means Monday
Everyone else, hope you have a fab day
Jo - how is your dad doing ((hugs))?

Busy start to the day for me; Sainsbury's by 7am so I could get some shopping done before I had to log on for work; then a dentist appointment and back home to work and pootle. Beam for the wall has been ordered and is being delivered Friday and hopefully can be fitted Saturday. I think Karl is coming round after work today to do a bit more work, but not sure. The plan is to get some of the electric sockets back up and running so I can run a radiator if I have to. So far it's been OK and I've not needed the extra heating, but then so far I've been at work all week

Have a lovely day everyone xxxx

Hi Ria, he’s doing okay. The four of us are visiting daily at some point or another. Five if you count Bill who happily jumps in any car that’s going. He’s eating well thanks to Tom and his lovely cooking, he’s filled his freezer with 20 nutritious meals that he’s cooked from scratch.

Glad to hear that your dad is doing okay Jo and the boys are helping out.

Been a bitterly cold wind most of the day, so I have walking around the garden a miss, as Grumpy came back like a block of ice

Just about to make some dumplings for the stew and we've not lit the fire, just have the oil filled thing on, seems to be okay at the moment.

Safe travels tomorrow Ally xx
