Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 18 Nov 2022, 07:20

Good morning.

For the first time since April we're having rain. :Hi: :Hi:

Looking at the forecast it's going to rain only for today and all day.
We are delighted. :cute:

I'll have a lovely day at home. Jacob and Conor are coming over and we have Friday beers and tapas tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning all :)

That's great Ally, it must be very much needed :) xx

It looks like a sunny day here. Mick and I are going out, Portivo Lounge and a good walk round the Dock basin most likely :) STILL waiting for the scaffolding to be taken down, despite our emails and phone calls - absolutely fed up with it now, I am very tempted to post on their FB page :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Sunny but cool and no rain for us today.

Enjoy your rain Ally :Hi:

The bliss of a good nights sleep :Hi: :Hi:

Cleaning for me this morning and then a wander around the garden, see how the new plants are doing and the veg. Not ventured out in it for a couple of days.

As it's a sunny day, we might pop down the bar later :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.
Kaz, what a pain. Hooray for the good night's sleep Jan. Ally, is it unusual to go for so long without rain?
Certainly isn't here. It rained heavily all day yesterday.
In a while we are off to Sainsbury's. This afternoon Eliza and her chums are giving a concert at the infants school; MrsC can't wait!
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it looks pleasant out there although temperatures have definitely dropped, I put the heat on for an hour yesterday evening. Edward enjoyed the match last night although Ireland played poorly, but he enjoyed being there with Michael and Kellie. A cherry picker arrived at 7.30 this morning, apparently found a small fault on the outside line and fixed it. The guy who called the other day phoned a while ago, and although he was able to get through on the landline, the incoming call cut off the internet again, so that part hasn’t been fixed. I’ll go out in a while to collect some cleaning, and shoes from the shoe repair. Dancing tonight.

Morning all, it’s sunny now after a drizzly start which was the end of the rain which started yesterday morning!

Bill had his early walk and is now sitting on the sofa in the downstairs living room, impatiently waiting for the Tesco delivery. He gets so excited when he sees the van and heard me mention to Joe that it was coming this morning.

Joe’s using up holiday so is off work today. He’s got a physio appointment at Nuffield in Wolverhampton a bit later to see how his running injury is healing. He’s still been able to exercise a bit though as he was given a free pass for Nuffield gyms at his last appointment, the beauty of his work private healthcare.

I need to go to Aldi later for some shopping for my Dad, we’ll drop that round and then it’ll be home to watch more of The Sopranos. John’s already watched it all and has been telling me that I’d like it so I took up a subscription offer for Now Entertainment to give it a go - he was right (but don’t tell him), I love it.

Have a good day all :D

The rain lasted till noon. Everything looks revived and fresh.

A mate asked me to get him some ciggies but at 10 this morning it twigged that as my flight is super early tomorrow the estanco won't be open. :o
Cue me racing to the airport to get them.

I've got everything ready that I'm taking and just need to pack them.

We're going out for lunch and the twins will meet us there. :D

Jo...Don and I decided only last week that we're going to watch the Sopranos in the new year. :cute:
