According to the Ministry of Defence the recruiting of pilots and training others does not breach any current UK law.

Well it should!

These pilots are said to be retired, but that should make no difference. They will all have signed the Official Secrets Act and there must be something in there to stop them and prosecute them.

And it is not only the UK. Pilots of fast jets from other countries are also being recruited.

As an ex RAF technician I would lock them up and throw the key away.

It would be hard to retrospectively punish them for something which was legal when they signed up to do it.
But it should also be easy to pass a law to stop this kind of carry on asap. Indeed you have to wonder why one doesn't exist already. No training of any other military without the express permissin of the MoD.

They have compromised this country for the sake of making money. There should be a law to stop it.

There should be a law to stop it. But with the PM resigning we're not going to be seeing much in the way of laws in the near term.
