The budget cap fiasco in F1

Postby miasmum » 09 Oct 2022, 22:11

As the result of this was supposed to be announced last Wednesday and postponed until tomorrow, I am expecting Red Bull to be found guilty and Max to be stripped of last years World Championship.

They wouldn't want that to overshadow the Japanese Grand Prix, for the fans and the sponsors

After today's shambles, I feel this even more. I think the result today was engineered to make sure he has the World Championship in his pocket for this year to soften the blow.

I am not sure it will be awarded to Hamilton though, I think it will be deleted.

But I am happy to be wrong and for Max to keep the WDC and maybe they just cant bear anymore sour grapes from Mercedes

After this weekend I am not sure I would trust them to hand out swimming certificates let alone World Driving Championships
