Postby cruiser2 » 28 Sep 2022, 13:51

My contract will shortly finish and i am thinking of changing to eithet Norton or BitDefender.

I only have the one tower computer and a new smart phone. Am willing to pay a reasonble price for this protection.
Already have CC cleanerwhich I use regulaly.

Anybody use them and which would you use.

Any comments much appreciated

As a business user I would always pay, but as a home user only using 'known' sites I'm fine with CCleaner, Avira anti-virus, Windows Security and AdBlock - all free.

Safe as houses and never a problem, mind you I do use safe practises with emails and random texts and calls - just don't engage.

I went away from Norton because large companies were abusing the community reports. They were reporting legit software as virus.

#1 son recommends Bitdefender but I've never used it.
