Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 11 Sep 2022, 05:56

Good morning.

Been promised it's the last of the 35°....fingers crossed.

Off for a walk shortly then back to get ready to go to Cartama market. This one's my favourite. :)

We'll have coffee and pitufo for brunch. :D

Pool cooling and reading this afternoon.

New series of Frozen Planet tonight followed by the excellent The Capture. :)

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Cool 18C at the moment and warming up to 33C ish later. We were told it would be 35 yesterday, reached 37C  I'd forgotton just how hot that can be  Thank heavens for a pool ;)

Talking to the newcomers last week, they've never had a pool, well, to be honest, how many of us had before they moved over here ? and they were getting in at least five times a day  Now, being here since May, only about twice a day

The earlier really thick mist/fog has now gone and we have a lovely morning, bit noisy as we have sheep and next doors guests have also gone, so the dogs have been barking for hours

And the hunters are out, so lots of bangs too

Last of the soup making this morning and also last of our sun, as rain and high winds forecast from tonight for the next few days :Hi: :Hi:

I'm doing the Monday wash this morning, to be sure of being able to put anything out.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all of you.

It is fine and a bit breezy but due to get warmer later.

I got some new cotton bedding from Dunelm yesterday so it all needs washing before use. That's two duvet covers, two fitted sheets, four pillow cases and a couple of pillow protectors. It looks like a good drying day, so why not?

This afternoon there is a F1 GP from Monza to look forward to then I can relax into the evening. Frozen Planet II then the Ned Kelly film.

Enjoy your day whatever you are doing.

Afternoon all, we got home mid-afternoon yesterday, no problems with travel. We popped into a supermarket to get something for dinner and met Miss Osc and Michael which was a nice surprise. We arrived back to beautiful weather but today is wet and miserable. I got the main load of washing done yesterday and legged out on the drying rail so there will be plenty of of ironing to be done this week. We’re going dancing this afternoon.

Afternoon everyone :)

I love a good market too, Ally :) xx

Think you have to be either very rich or very hardy to have an outdoor pool here Jan - possibly both  xx

It’s a great drying day Frank :D xx

Have a good one, Cruiser :) xx

Well we’ve been out for brunch, now round D’s. We’re planning to visit the cathedral this afternoon, to sign the book of condolence there. We’ve asked D if she wants to come but she hasn’t decided yet. If she does, we’ll use her blue badge and park very closely, if not Mick and I will leave the car here and walk down, it’s only ten minutes away. Becky has taken Fraggle to Frampton Fair along with friends, so will be out most of the day. M and I have lamb steaks and new potatoes for later.

Love to all :) xx

Morning all......just

Bright sunshine here 8-)

We had a lovely walk yesterday, the sun came out and it was much warmer than we expected, perfect :D
Not much happening here, we've had a nice lie in so just sitting down for brekkie/lunch. Rotisserie chicken with salad for dinner this evening, ice cream for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx
