Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 28 Aug 2022, 05:39

Good morning.

Three more days of 37° then it's easing down to low thirties. :cute:

Yesterday's yomp was great but a hot one.
My water bladder holds 3.5 litres of water and by the time we got back to the car it was empty.
Luckily I'd packed another two litre bottle in ice for the drive home.

A swim this morning. :D

We're going out for a couple of cold beers and will pick up a cooked roast chicken on the way home.
We have pre packed salad and a neighbour handed in a trug of his home grown cherry and plum tomatoes which taste absolutely divine. :P
That's dinner sorted.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally,

The sun is out but not as warm as you Ally. Will be going out in the garden. Still a lot to do at the back to get it straight and weed free.
The front is looking good with lots of colour.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

Low thirties sounds much better, Ally 8-) That's a lot of water  ;) xx

Enjoy your gardening Cruiser :) xx

It looks like being a sunny day here, mid twenties :) Usual stuff for me and Mick, but B is off to the annual Whitcomb Cider Festival with friends. Probably a good thing that tomorrow is a BH, so she won't need to go to work

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all.
Fine and sunny here.
That walk sounds a bit of a toil of a pleasure Ally! Enjoy the bbq Jan. Cruiser your garden sounds lovely. Cider festival Kaz? I hope you've got some paracetamol in for B.
Nothing much doing here but we are having a family Sunday lunch for the seven of us, which will be nice.
MrsC has picked a lot of blackberries and we are going to have a blackberry crumble, yum.
She got a lot of them from the cricket field where there are some nice ones. Hnestly, talk about plundering and looting, she's like the Red Army. Barely a decent berry left in the field!
We've not been in that field for thirty years and the first time we go back in we nick their blackberries! People will talk.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :D

Woke up to bright sunshine, then drizzle for all of 5mins, black clouds and now more sunshine :?

A swim sounds lovely Ally and Jan.
Enjoy the garden Cruiser, ours needs a good tidy.
Kaz a cider festival sounds fun, but bet B will have a headache tomorrow
Blackberry crumble sounds yummy Crommers. Enjoy your family dinner.

We slept in again so will be having a lazy day. Cold gammon with salad for dinner this evening. Sainsbury's do a nice low sugar ice cream so that will do for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

The festival started ten years ago, when a man who made too much of his own cider decided to throw a party in a field - it kind of grew from there! :D That’s a very “Gloucester” way of going on 8-) :D
