Good morning everybody,

Ally, can you store some of the hot weather and send it over here in the winter months. There will be a lot od people especially the elderly who will be
affected by the energy price increase.

The sun is trying to come out so we may have a warmday. Will be doing ironing this morning. Still some more gardening to do.
It can wait till tomorrow.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning you two and everyone; happy Friday

Ally enjoy the day by the pool and the tapas this evening
Kaz hope you have a good day whatever you end up doing
Cruiser, waking up to the new energy price cap this morning is just soul destroying.

A bit of a different working day for me. I'm taking Nadine for an eye appointment at 11.40 and then we're treating ourselves to lunch somewhere afterwards; not sure where though and we can't book as we don't know how long we have to wait at the appointment. It's at the local walk-in centre and sometimes Nadine is seen within 10 minutes of arriving; other times we've sat for just shy of an hour before she got seen. Trusty laptop will come with me

Have a good day everyone x

Morning everyone

Misty start again, although it's not cold.

Off to get some wooden poles for the new screen after breakfast. And once the mist goes. It's a fair trek to Santa Luzia and we'll stop for a coffee on the way back.

Have a lovely day Kaz, that's the joy of being retired. Just take off somewhere :Hi:

Hope Nadine doesn't have to wait too long Ria and you have a lovely lunch x

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s overcast here but the sun may appear later. We are off to Wicklow for two nights, you should see the amount of stuff we are bringing  We will be going to two dances, one on Saturday night, one on the way home on Sunday, so extra clothes. We also have a box of food. Miss Osc and family will be there tomorrow night for one night. Today we will doing this walk https://www.beyondthetreesavondale.com/ ... p-walkway/, looking forward to it.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-) We didn't get the storms promised yesterday, not even a spot of rain. Lots of areas quite close by weren't so lucky, they got the lot.

Youngest daughter Z is celebrating opening her own pilates studio, it's a brilliant space. She has the downstairs area and her husband M will be using upstairs for his business. She's spent the past week kitting her space out, think there are a couple of things still to arrive, but she's already seeing one to one clients, full classes start 1 Sept. What with all the price rises it's a big step, wishing them both lots of luck.

Usual wash day for me, that plus the bed change is more than enough to keep me busy.

Hope you all have a good day xx
