Evening all.
(Channeling my Dixon of Dock Green there).
Had a lovely couple of days. Yesterday evening we saw a pair of Kingfishers fly across the river in front of us. Before yesterday I'd never seen one in my life.
Today we parked up near Robin Hood's Bay and saw the Lancaster, and one hour since a fish jumped out of the river, five yards in front of us.
So it's been a very good couple of days, especially as our daughter and Eliza came yesterday and stayed over. They came to get away from the heat inland.
There has been a really thick sea fret again in Whitby. From on top of the west cliff you couldn't see the sea. A couple of streets further back and it was brilliant sunshine!
Weird.
I hope that you are all keeping well.
