Ann was definitely a worthy winner, but Sandra was just lovely, and all Lauren needs is another 30 or 40 years' experience :D

Sandra was lovely and making clothes for herself and three daughters forever, but when she chose the satin fabric for the evening dress I knew that would be unforgiving especially with a concealed zip and that bit of pulling.

Lauren was so ambitious with those bands across the back as a bit of gaping but perfect over the front bodice and using stretch sequin fabric for the skirt! Phew!

Ann did play safe with most of her choices as most of her frocks were the same shape but so perfectly done. Looks like Yoga and Dressmaking is the way to go as she was so calm, never rushed and I hope this programme does encourage people to sew, just like Mary Berry and Paul have made baking cool 8-)

Very much a worthy winner, she has been consistent throughout, and such a lovely lady!! :D :D

Lauren didn't seem too able to time-manage, either that or she was to ambitious for her abilities.....yes she needs more experience :) Sandra was great, but she wasn't quite the seamstress Ann was :)

Maybe some of the difference between Ann and Sandra was to do with Sandra having 3 daughters and as she said, making the same thing 3 times over. She couldn't afford to be too meticulous or it would have been Christmas before she'd finished their summer frocks :D
Lauren should have chosen simpler designs, even for that bag she spent far too long working out zigzags, how long did she think it would take to sew on individual sequins?!
