Good morning.

22° and sunny in Nottingham.
42° and sunny where Don is.
I'm glad I'm here.

I'm going for a good long walk round Mapperley park. I'll do a few loops of it.

Craig's in Stoke till around 3 so I'll happily read and relax. :D

He's cooking dinner tonight. :D

Have a great day.

How's M Kaz? X

Morning Ally, morning all

Ally, 42 is a bit much; think I'd also rather be where you are ;-). Enjoy the dinner tonight

Well another weekend that absolutely flew by. Had a friend round on Saturday; we went for a long walk around a lake just up the road from me, back home to chill and a BBQ a bit later in the day. Yesterday I was at my brothers to watch the F1 and then another BBQ :D .

Walked up to the allotment at 6am this morning to water, came home and had a video chat with my mom and now it's back to the usual / usual mix of work and pootle

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all :)

Ria, I agree! 32 I can enjoy, 42 is too much :? :cute: That sounds like a much better weekend than we’ve had ;) xx

Have a nice walk Ally :) xx

Well Mick seems a bit better, but has rung in sick for work. In 34 years with BT this is the first time ever! :ugeek: He dropped Fraggle at the vets for his tooth extraction, B went too so Mick could stay in the car. B’s work don’t want her in while we have covid in the house, even though she’s negative- two staff members are flying off on holiday next week and don’t want to risk it. Seems slightly OTT but it’s their call. I’m negative too so will be going out later, I spent nearly all last week stuck in with Fraggle so am not doing it again this week :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning everyone

Warm 8-) We're not 42C today, we're going to cool down now - for a few days at least - and only 37C

Glad M is a little better Kaz xx Everything crossed you don't get it.

Amazing what a brandy can do   We'd both had a rubbish nights sleep on Saturday, so said a brandy would help last night. We only woke up because I had a text at 9.00

Text telling us we're at very high risk today, for fire and to be extra careful.

Normal pool, athletics, pool and salad for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s can’t make it’s mind up here - look out the front towards Birmingham and it’s dull but out the back towards Shropshire there’re gorgeous blue skies

Bill’s had his walk and the second load is in the washing machine. Joe’s back in work after his weekend in Barmouth with Amanda and their friends Zak and Harriet. I’ve just put his bucket and spade away in the garage (Yes, I really have  - nice spade it is too, a shiny red metal one. Apparently the plastic one he bought only lasted half an hour before it broke. And yes, he’s 22   ).
Tom’s pottering around, it’s a big week for him which I’ll post about on a separate thread.

I did much of the housework yesterday so I only need to hoover through today and iron today’s washing. If the lawns dry enough I’ll get those cut.
Might do an Ikea trip tonight.

Have a good day all x

Morning all, it’s most cloudy here although my weather app says sun all day  I have two wash loads to get out on the line, then I’m going to the gym at 11.30. Edward has gone to play golf for a change :P Usual sort of stuff for the rest of the day.

Morning all :D

A tad cooler and windy.

Enjoy the walk Ally.
A busy weekend Ria.
Glad Mick is feeling a bit better Kaz.
Stay safe Jan xx

Not sure what we're doing, E's knee is a bit better but still sore so he'll rest if for another day. Showers forecast so we probably wouldn't have gone too far anyway.

Stay cool and have a good day xx

Good morning all.
Cloudy here but not cold.
We are having Eliza this afternoon. Tomorrow our daughters family go on holiday to Majorca for a week.
Son in law's parents are paying for it. His dad had a private pension that he had forgotten about, he has now cashed it in and is spending it. Can't fault him. He and his wife plus their daughter and family are all going.
Have a good day everyone.
