There was one day last week where we were forecast a small chance of light rain for an hour.
What we got was four hours of continuous heavy rain.

We’ve had a fair amount over the last four or five days, so much so that there are some huge puddles on the common and in the woods. Last week the ground was just soaking it straight in.

I put washing out first thing yesterday and it took all day for it to almost dry because of the on and off rain.

We’ve had a downpour this morning too, and I usually wear Converse in Summer when I walk Bill - I’m now having to wear wellies!
