Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 09 Jul 2022, 04:23

Good morning.

The pleasant weather continues. :D

After eight smashing days here today I'm off to Nottingham.
My train's not till 3pm giving me loads of time to pack. Because I'm coming back here in 3 weeks I don't need to lug everything with me which is very handy.

Craig's meeting me off the train, I'll dump my stuff then we'll head to his little local for a few beers.
I can't wait to see him. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Warm in the sun, very pleasant in the shade but another hot day 8-)

Off to see whatever doc is in this morning. Not Dr Paulo, he's on holiday.

Wish next doors dogs were on holiday  The poor guests are packing their stuff in the car and every time they go out, the dogs bark  and also when they see us watering  So constant barking, howling

Being on the safe side, I've got everything I need - been caught out before, when the doc says, right, off you go to Beja  Grumpy has a list of what tablets to take and when.

If all goes well, we'll stop at Aldi on the way back and get some gorgeous bread for breakfast (pao de mae) - bread of the mother) and I've got sausages for him and bacon for me (start of the birthday week-end  )

Hopefully, a day of doing bugger all. Too hot to think, let alone do anything. Pool, lilo. pool, lilo 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Jan, everything crossed for you today, lots of love xxxxxx

Have a good “bits and bobs” day Saundra :) xxx

The sun’s out here, and we’re having brekkie outside Corretto’s :) It’s very quiet down here so far, as there are no markets or events on, but I expect the weather will bring people out later 8-) Round to see D in a while, we’re hoping to here that Uncle Bill is home safely some time today. Fingers crossed XX

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all, it’s overcast here but quite warm. Edward got up early to watch rugby and see Ireland beat New Zealand on their home turf for the first time ever. He’ll probably watch England -v- Australia and flick back and forth between that and the Scottish Open golf. I’m off to have my nails done at 11am, otherwise nothing planned for the day. Might watch some tennis this afternoon.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Enjoy the train journey Ally.
Good luck with the doctor Jan.
Hope you get all the bits and bobs done Saundra.
Enjoy having your nails done Osc.

We'll be off out for our usual walk along the seafront shortly. There's a bit of a breeze so it shouldn't be too hot down on the promenade. Absolutely nothing planned for this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

I'm just having breakfast

Took over two hours, waiting to see Dra Ana and as lovely as she is, she does like to talk   Yes, it 's a hernia, yes it needs surgery  and she's put me down as priority but if I don't hear from them within the month to ring. I had the choice of Portimao or Beja and said Beja, only because it's nearer. As she said, I had a good surgeon last time and should have the same one.

Poor Grumpy had insisted on driving me in and he was sweltering when we left, so we stopped at the bar on the way back. He had a beer, I had coffee and water and various friends were there, so we had a couple more beers

He went straight into the pool when we got back, as I was cooking breakfast

Think it might be a siesta this afternoon ;)

Afternoon all, I’m currently sitting in front of a fan with Bill.

We’ve had an early walk on Hednesford Hills before it got too warm for Bill and me and John have been to see my oldest friend Rob as it’s his birthday tomorrow.

Joe’s gone to Amanda’s and Tom’s home, he’s going into school later though as they’re having an (almost) end of year staff party.

Have a good day all x
