Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 23 Jun 2022, 05:27

Good morning.

Hot and sunny. 8-)

A swim first then getting ready to walk into town.
All schools and colleges finish today until mid September so I'm going into my old workplace to have a coffee and natter with my ex colleagues. :D

Someone's asked me to take ciggies over for them so I'll go to the estanco and get a carton of those.

A few other bits then home to strip off and get back in the pool.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally,

I am up because it is too warm to sleep.
Will be out in the garden sunbathing. I am laving the housework until it is cooler and raining.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Lovely, sunny and pleasantly cool morning. We're not warming up again until next week 8-)

Very sensible Cruiser, a bit of dust never hurt anyone :D

Not sure what we'll be doing today, It's supposed to rain, but as we have a gorgeous blue sky and not a cloud in sight, I have the washing machine going.. It will, no doubt, rain as soon as I put the washing out

Bit of a fry up for breakfast, I have some potatoes left over from Tuesday, so will fry them up with a couple of eggs.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning you three and everyone

Cruiser - no sun down my way; overcast and rain expected; which I'm not complaining about as the garden and allotment will be very happy!
Ally, enjoy the catch up with the ex-colleagues
Jan, that's my kind of luck re the washing and rain :D

Well a work from home day for me; going to head to Sainsbury's in a bit to get some bits and bobs and also a few things for some friends of our who have just both tested positive so are self-isolating but that's about it. May invite myself over to Nadine for dinner - Karl is away in Germany for an exhibition so she's home alone.

So not a very exiting day and I'm quite happy to have a quiet usual / usual :D

have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s dull but warmish here. We’re off to dance practise in a while. Michael and Kellie are not coming here today but we will go to their house this afternoon and go for a walk with them. Michael graduates from primary school tomorrow, going to secondary in September, how did that happen  As a graduation present, he has got his first phone, his parents bought it but he has to pay the monthly subscription from his pocket money, so we’ll give him some money to help with the first couple of months. Right, better tidy around before we go out.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine here 8-)

Ally enjoy the catch up with your old colleagues.
Good idea to leave the housework Cruiser, I'm really good at that
Can't remember the last time I had a fry up for brekkie Jan, sounds yummy.
Shame about the rain Ria, but as you say the garden will enjoy it.
Gosh Michael due for secondary school, I look at Z's boys and often wonder where all the years have gone Osc.

We had a nice walk yesterday, but I forgot to take any painkillers, needed the ice pack when I got home. It's shopping today, we only need a few bits from M&S so we won't be out long.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Food for thought then Ally? xx

Can't believe Michael is that age Osc  :D xx

Good thinking Cruiser ;) xx

That sounds delicious Jan 8-) xx

Enjoy the quiet/usual Ria :) xx

Usual Thursday supermarket trip today, been back about an hour so we've had a bite of lunch :) It's warm but overcast here today, rain coming tomorrow apparently. The engineer is due in a minute to service our boiler - just the usual annual one. Pilates tonight.

Love to all xx
