Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 13 Jun 2022, 05:39

Good morning.

Hot with a capital H. 8-)

Had a fantastic yomp with David yesterday. It was so good to get my hiking boots back on. :D

Another one has been arranged for next Sunday. :cute:

I'm just away for my walk, I'll have a swim when I get back and apart from adding to my list (my ticker is going down rapidly  ) I plan to be lazy reading by the pool. :D

Have a great day.

ETA....just back from my walk to see on BBC news our temps are due for 44°.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Fresh morning this morning, lovely to be out and about in it. Warming up soon, no doubt 8-)

So another day of doing not a lot. I'll take a few cuttings for Jackie and look after them for a few weeks until I pass them on. Make sure they're well rooted.

Salad for dinner

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Still cloudy and windy but warm. Making some phone calls this morning before going to town. Need a couple of cards and stamps.
If it stays dry will be in the garden this afternoon.
Have a good day everybody.

Good morning all

Ally, wowzer - 44 and that in June; doesn't bear thinking about just how hot the rest of the year may get.
Jan, enjoy pootling in the garden and getting those cuttings potted.
Cruiser, hope you get what you need in town and hope the weather is nice for you this afternoon.

Lovely sunny morning here. Washing is on the line and I've already been to Sainsbury's to get chicken veg and cat food for the next few days. I'll be sorting some plants in between working and then this evening will spend a few hours at the allotment. My veg plants in the greenhouse really aren't doing well at all and I'm fairly certain it's the compost I used. I woke about 3am this morning and my mind started thinking about all sorts of things and then I also remembered that when I potted up the seedlings a few weeks back, all but one plant were put in a compost mix and then I ran out; so that last one was put in compost from a tomato grow bag; and I'm sure that's the one that is a lot healthier. So today I'm going to try rescue what I can and hope they all catch up.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s dull out there  Edward has gone to play golf and I’ll be going to the gym shortly. Then I’m meeting three school friends for lunch, I always love that we are still friends after ….. mmmmm….. 65 years or so  Plenty of chat will ensue  We’ve changed our supermarket delivery from Wednesday to Monday starting today so we’ll see how that goes. Had a nice time dancing yesterday and called to Miss Osc and family on the way home. Miss Osc offered to do a loaves and fishes with their dinner, which was nice, and we didn’t want much anyway after a week of overeating :? Right, better get on, stuff to do including going to the post office to send a birthday present to my grandnephew in Cork - I was mega organised before we went away, bought it, wrapped it and left it ready to post *polishes halo*.

Not working Vic, not when it's 38C 8-)

Can't remember the name Kaz, but a succulent. I have various colours, red, purple, white and orange and they will look good on their bank, growing down.

Still a lovely breeze out at the front of the house, blinkin' hot at the back. Unusually

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

We're planning to pop into town shortly, only need a few bits, but can't be out too long. Tesco will be delivering this afternoon and they've been getting here quite a bit earlier than our time slot, last week it was an hour early :o

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all it's dull here but humid I can't breath very well
Either and ache all over
But washing done and all tidy
But down at the moment I was invited to view a bungalow last week near the humber bridge
But I turned it down for several reasons one being because it was a end bungalow it has no back door had to use front door to back garden very odd and over the back wall
was huge trees mega high and took all the light from the garden and would scare me in a storm
So that's me today
Never mind neighbour home today from Turkey iv,missed them by for now
