Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 12 Jun 2022, 05:26

Good morning.

Hot.

David's picking me up at 8.30am and we're going yomping. :cute:

Yes it's a bit mad in this weather but two things.
One...he's chosen a mountain route that has a lot of forest coverage and two...I'm so happy he's continuing to feel so much better that when he suggested going I was more than happy to say yes. :Hi:

Tonight it's a Chinese takeaway and we're going to watch the film Belfast. :D

Have a great day.

Morning all, it’s cloudy here but supposed to be sunnier later. We got home safely yesterday, all travel went well thank goodness. We were very tired after getting up before 5.30am, so went to bed very early. We did unpack, I did a machine load of washing and got it out on the line before we went to bed. Just a few bits and pieces to be sorted out now, then we plan to go dancing this afternoon. We had a really lovely holiday although I’m always happy enough to get back home, but I’m already missing the nice weather :(

Ally, we watched Belfast while on the ship - sitting outside on the lovely Rooftop Garden on Deck 15 - it’s an excellent film, really well done.

Enjoy Ally! Really glad David is better :) Take care in the heat, both xx

A nice easy day reading Jan :) Sounds good xx

Osc, I miss the warmth too - keep looking at the weather app for the Corfu temps and torturing myself  :cute:  xx

It’s a bright day here, but still fairly chilly. It’s as if the earth hasn’t warmed up to June yet :?: :? Sitting outside Corretto’s but with jackets on :cute: Off to D’s in a while. Becky’s out with friends for the day. Chicken with Greek salad for dinner later.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Good afternoon everybody.

The sun comes out and then there are grey clouds but no rain yet.
Have spen more than an hour in the garden, still a few more weeds to pull up and then I have finished. Will have to cut some of the long flower
heads of the lupins as they have died. But there are several others coming out so still plenty of colour.
Will try to finish the weeding this afternoon
Have a good day everybody

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Enjoy your walk Ally.
A day of not doing a lot sounds perfect to me Jan.
Glad your journey home went well Osc.
It's definitely not jacket weather here Kaz.
Well done with the gardening Cruiser.

We enjoyed our amble along the promenade yesterday, E's walking everywhere without his stick now. The wind which was forecast to be gale force was actually a pleasant breeze. I'd like to say the King George steps were a bit easier for me, but they were just as challenging as last week :o

Bed change today so that will be enough, plan to be extremely lazy this afternoon. Rotisserie chicken with salad for dinner later, strawberry blancmange with blackcurrant jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx
