God I'm good.

I found tonights episode gripping and the bit at the end with the beacons was very emotional. I know, I know - it's only fiction.

You sure are Debih

Yes we felt the same about the beacons bit too  :)

Good bit of writing wasn't it, that Ellie had said exactly the same thing to Pauline Quirk, how could you not know (mixing real and fictional characters but you know who I mean!)

Sorry but I thought it was a completely crap and rubbish ending.

She was a detective, not even a PC a DETECTIVE, he laid in bed next to her crying, sleeping tablets or not how could he have been normal the next day? Why did no one ask for his alibi? Why did he give Danny £500 'because I wanted him to love me" bleurgh.

As ever it was as if they had decided on who but not thought 'oh we need a motive, oh child abuse, thats always a good one'

Why did Nige have a garage full of crossbows, how did Susan (Pauline Quirk) manage to walk away and what did Nige have over her? He didn't know she was his mother at that point?

Complete and utter tosh, wish I had listened to Fugi

I am cross, can you tell

Yes, tend to agree with MM ...... I don't know ....... we found it very difficult to identify with (and therefore be sympathetic to) any of the characters, to be honest. Perhaps it was a bit too over-emotional for us.

There was one scene last week (which I remember we remarked on at the time but which we've now forgotten) and one scene this week (the confrontation in the cell) which simply didn't ring true, we felt it was all very unrealistic.

So at the end of the day, Broadchurch didn't win any rave reviews in the Ostrich abode, I'm afraid.
