Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun and clouds with a brisk breeze, so feeling quite cold outside  Warmer than yesterday though ;)

Hope the move goes smoothly Ally x

I'll be outside, moving bulbs around in the garden. The flowers are really pretty when they come out, but dear me, do they multiply   So I'll be wandering around the garden, digging holes and putting them in. No idea what Grumpy will be doing today. He has painting to do, but doesn't get up early enough to do it

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning! :)

I hope the move goes well Ally xxx

Happy gardening Jan :) xxx

It's another overcast, slightly chilly day here :? I'm going to walk into town, then have lunch with D. Plenty to do here this afternoon, then out to The Wagon and Horses in Hucclecote for dinner with Em and a couple of the other girls from Pilates. At least that's the plan, sometimes organising these things is like herding cats   So we'll see :D

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s a nice sunny morning here but guess what, rain forecast for later  We were to have Michael and Kellie, but Kellie has a sore throat and a rash on her face, so Miss Osc thought it wise to keep her away from us so close to our holiday - SIL is working at home so that worked out ok. I think Michael is fine though, so we’ll probably see him later. In the meantime, Edward is going to play golf, I’m going out to return something I bought last week so will give him a lift to the golf club. Then it’s back to work on my list. Yesterday I booked our taxi for Friday morning, had a good chat with the woman who answered and based on her advice and experience of last weekend at the airport, I booked it for 4am :? :(

Good morning everybody.

Have had the oven and grill cleaned by a professional cleaner. Only cost £55.00. It now looks like new. He was here nearly an hour so well worth it.
I am not going to fry anything on the hotplates and will wrap anything I cook in the oven so fat does not spash on the sides.
This will belp to keepit clean.
Now going for the paper and then having a coffee. Just pootling for the rest of the day.
Hope the move goes well Ally. You can borrow my sack truck. It has three wheels to make it easy going up and down stairs.
Have a good day everybody.

hello all and good morning

Ally, good luck with the move and happy new home to Jacob
Jan it will be pretty when all the bulbs come up in various places
Cruiser, my sister-in-law had her oven done a while back as well, it was amazing just how clean it became. Their oven is used every day so it needed that extra help ;-)
Osc, poor Kellie - hope nothing serious that's causing the rash. Don't envy you that 4am start on Friday, but it'll be worth it :D
Kaz, hope the dinner goes as planned - enjoy

Overcast and chilly here as well, and rain expected shortly - the sky is getting darker. I had planned to spend yesterday and today at the allotment, but the weather has been horrid so yesterday I cleaned and tidied the outhouse / store area and today the house is getting a much overdue thorough clean. The poor cats hate the vacuum cleaner so I try work around them.

Have a fab day everyone x

Morning all :D

It's been raining since we got up, but it's stopped for now. More wet stuff promised for the afternoon, deep joy!!

Had a phone call from orthotics yesterday afternoon, the insoles are ready, but the earliest appointment they could offer is 24th June. So a wait of 7 weeks since my first appointment, but better late than never.

Eldest daughter is due to arrive around 3ish, she's with husband and our grandson David, plus Hannah and her two girls. We haven't had so many people visit for ages. The plan is to pop down to the harbour and have late lunch/early dinner at the Royal Pavilion, sounds posh but it's a spoons lol Perfect for the children, always guaranteed to find something they will all eat, and great for me, no cooking 8-) Really excited to see them all.

Hope you all have a good day xx
