North Koronavirus Mk 2

Postby Workingman » 21 May 2022, 16:55

It is said that there are now 2.5 million cases of a "fever" in North Korea which is thought be Covid-19, but its type is unknown as no genomic testing is carried out. It has a population of 25 million so 10% are infected and the numbers are rising rapidly.

NK has next to no vaccines and very few have been used throughout the pandemic meaning that the overwhelming majority of its people remain unvaccinated. It also has a very poor healthcare system; one of the worst in the world. The worry is that this combination could make it the breeding ground of a new strain of Covid.

It has refused to accept donations of vaccines and instead has told its people to drink herbal tea and gargle with a saline solution.

In the case that they refuse to apply modern medicine then they should also have ancient plague remedies applied to them. Shut the borders and let it burn itself out.

Darwinian, but not our fault.

Those who understand Binary and those who do not.

NK closed it borders two years ago and only reopened one rail freight crossing in January. That is now closed again so the North Koreans are on their own.

A slight worry for me is that if people start dying in their droves Kim might get it into his head that the South planted Covid as a biological weapon. He is crazy enough to lob a few nukes off at Seoul and Busan in "retaliation" and for protection.
