Personally I found the UK song to be very ho-hum, and had other favourites. It was always obvious that Ukraine would win the popular vote, as Shell says, not political but supportive. The Eurovision doesn’t have to be held in the winning country, there have been at least 7 occasions when it was hosted elsewhere. This year I watched both semis and the final, and thought it was the best Eurovision in recent years, far less nonsense and lots of actual good songs.

Well as we all know should Australia win, they certainly won't be hosting and didn't Israel also choose to pass the buck but at the moment Zelensky is adamant they will do, which I where I think we will step in and bridge the gap
