Good afternoon everyone.
A dull and chilly day here.
I am slow cooking a beef stew, it does smell nice.
5.30am Ria? :o :o
I watched the service for Prince Philip, I thought they gave the old boy a good send off. Can't understand Harry, would it have killed him to be there?
Have a good day all.

Home now :)

Agreeing that P Harry’s behaviour is shameful, whatever is he thinking? :? :( Will catch the service later, on iPlayer.

Jen, my increasingly dodgy hip is protesting today, cold wet weather does not suit! xx

Crommers a stew is perfect for this weather - yum! xx

I agree Osc, Harry's behaviour is an absolute disgrace, his grandfather would be so ashamed of him.

It's a while since we've seen such a big service at the abbey, I was struck by how many of the family look so frail now, of course it's to be expected at their age, but it still shocked me. The Queen as ever was amazing, at her age and state of health it must have been a trial, I so admire her. If only more of the younger members of the family had her grace and sense of duty.

I was shocked as well to see elderly member s of the royal family so doddery? Duke of Kent Prince Michael and wife has to hold each other up
Perhaps it's because we haven't seen them for a long time
I'm pleased the queen came and although she set a few
Tounges? Wagging her favourite son was by her side rightly or wrongly

Just finished watching the service. I agree it's quite sad to see older Royal Family members looking so frail, especially HM.

Saundra, I think as it was a family occasion it was entirely right he should be there, after all he's not commited a crime in UK law, and Philip was his father. I don't like the man one bit, but that's another matter.
