Morning all

Ally enjoy the day and behave the two of you
Cruiser, so lovely that your grand daughter comes to stay - one of my nieces regularly visited my mom when they were living closer together but she was the only one that did but she has now moved too far away
Saundra, Jan and Vic - hope your days are as enjoyable as can be despite the weather

Well another day in the office for me and tell you what - that 5.30am alarm is not nice. Admittedly it's only half an hour (maybe one if I'm indulging) earlier than I'd usually get up but still; not helped that because of the clocks going forwards it is still dark :D And then this week I'll no doubt be needing to scrape ice at some point given the chilly forecast

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all. It’s been a funny one here. It was lovely and the sun was just rising beautifully when I went out with Bill, by the time we were walking back an hour later we were in thick fog, it’s since brightened up again but now it’s a bit misty.

I’ve got a charity bag to fill so that’ll be this afternoon’s job.

Joe’s got his eye test and contact lens check later. He was showing us the order of service for Amanda’s grandad’s funeral when he got back last night. The music at the end was The Irish Rover, he was from County Mayo, but the entrance music was….Stayin’ Alive by The Bee Gees :D

Have a lovely time Cruiser!

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast, showers are forecast.

Enjoy Fuengirola Ally.
Lovely to have a visit from your granddaughter to look forward to Cruiser.
I'll be catching up with the remembrance service sometime today Saundra.
A 5.30am alarm sounds ghastly Ria :o for me that's almost the middle of the night

E and I have both been extra sore the last few days, not sure if the drop in temperature is to blame, but it's not much fun. We're a couple of crocks at the moment. No plans for today, taking it nice and easy.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s very dull and dreary here. Today we should have been heading off to Southampton, but we are both fine about it. We were watching the ceremony from Westminster Abbey, it was lovely to see the g/grandchildren there, all so well behaved. That Harry was not there is an absolute disgrace and I hope he regrets it for many years. I also hope he and Meghan don’t make one of their pointless gestures, putting flowers somewhere or something, that would just compound it. He missed a golden opportunity to mend some fences, but obviously he is so self-centered that he doesn’t care.

I need to do some ironing this afternoon and also have to get on to Ryanair to get “no-show” confirmation so we can claim from our insurance. Edward is completing our supermarket order, and I also need to pop to the postbox with a birthday card for my grandnephew.
